I figured we should have a discussion about working on cars, I'll start
My power steering needs adjustment and I've located the bolt that governs adjustment. Unlike every logical carmaker, Mercedes has apparently designed the box to tighten up when the adjustment bolt is turned counterclockwise and out, as opposed to clockwise and in like every other fucking automaker ever.
There's a lock nut on top, and an allen key aperture in the bolt? maybe. My thing is, neither of them will move; I nearly broke my skeleton-mode wrists trying. Any good pieces of advice? PB blaster maybe?
In addition I will attempt to answer any retarded questions to the best of my meager ability.

After living in a condo for the longest, most dreadful three years of my life, I am finally moving back into a house soon, with a nice, comfy 2-car garage for all my tools and my B210.
So, /o/, show me your garages. Any thing that makes yours stand out? Tips/hints etc? I need inspiration as I'm in the process of planning mine now.

Ok /b/ this is the thing:
I really want to drive, im not 18 yet.
One day, walking from high school to home i found a Bmw 5 series (525i in concrete) with the door lock turned way up (the door lock was popped). I ignored it the first few days. I told it to my friends and we decided to go back to the car, we opened the door and we were flipping out. The thing is that when i hang out with my friends, late at night we go to the bmw and enter on it no more than 2 minutes, it really scares me the idea of getting caught by the cops but i really wanna drive it ( the BMW was already stolen by a joyrider, he popped the lock and shit so it can be turned on with just a single tea spoon). What do you recommend me to do? what clothes should i wear to not be suspicious to cops or persons that pass by?, oh, and by the way when i do it it´s like 22:00-23:00 pm so i think it´s a good hour.

So I fucked up the brake-line on my sister's car while trying to change the rear pads/rotor, I'm not getting paid for this shit, so I told her to just take it to a mechanic to get it fixed. The handbrake was also stretched, so that needed to get tightened while she was there.

now I'm a little pissed off and concerned.

the whole reason why I went there is to get the brakeline fixed and the handbrake tightened. Instead they charge 400$ for replacing the front strut, and then another 200$+ for the fluids.
I said fuck it, it's her money if she says "okay" to the mechanic every time they say something needs to be done then that's her problem. ruined my fucking day. I was gonna do some mad skidz with the handbrake fixed.

The 1984 VW Rabbit Convertible is the car I always wanted to buy, and i bought one.
I only spent 300 on it, because there is a "white smoke" being exhausted.
How extensive is an engine rebuild? I want to do it to replace all the gaskets, but I need to know if it's possible and just very tedious, or complicated and worth paying for.
I am so happy I bought it, it needs body work, but it runs and I got it home.
tl;dr Can I tear down my 1.8l engine and replace all the gaskets?
