bmw vs audi vs mercedes, between the 2000 and 2004 model years
of the three "upscale" german brands, which one is the most forgiving on maintenance?
i know Mercedes have pretty constant electrical gremlins but the engines and trannys are usually ok with oil and tranny fluid changes
i know BMWs require pretty constant attention, even if the maintenance isn't difficult and the parts aren't that pricey
I'm not sure about audi though. they actually seem to be pretty durable and able to take at least a little neglect in between servicing.
this is something i would be DDing, and i want to avoid massively expensive repairs if i forget to maintenance for a little while, just in case i get super busy or am separated from my tools or WHATEVER

Finally got up to Grand Rapids, MI to grab the freightshaker. Had the plates, but no IFTA tags, so we could get the tractor and drive it back to Illinois, but still can't put freight on it.
Going to spend the next few days getting the truck set up, and then we'll be off for a few months of training team style.
A lot of this truck is weird to me, since it is so different in design compared to all of the peterbilts, kenworths, and internationals I've driven in the past, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Hi /o/, quick question. I have a 4th gen firebird formula. It's an automatic with a shift kit and a performance CPU chip that changes the shift points to ”perform better”, among other things.
When I really take off, (not flooring it, but really getting it going) around 4-6k rpm when it shifts I'm getting brief tire squeal, like a mini burnout..only at 50+ mph. Is this normal?
This only started happening after I installed the shift kit, which makes it REALLY kick hard when shifting, especually out of low gears.

Hey /o/, I have a bit of a dilemma.
I have two potential options in my near future:
1. Start fixing my project Mk IV Supra (side skirts, bumpers, intercooler, full body paintjob and eventually (very eventually) RHD to LHD and auto to manual swap), or:
2. Start upgrading my Mk III Supra into the 450 - 500 HP range, as I absolutely love that car and rarely see done up Mk IIIs.
Which do you think is the better idea? Pic related, very much my recent inspiration for idea 2.
