Electric turbos mystify me as to how people fall for them. To me it just seems obvious that increasing the load on your electrical system ISN'T going to boost performance.

It works by using the fuel shark's electrobalance technology to help regulate and optimize your car's electrical system, which helps your car's engine run more efficiently and use less gas.

I have acquaintances who'll claim that putting on sparkplugs with a taller heat-value will increase response and power

Also have a friend who had "devised" a system that would inject pure oxygen into the airfilter, kinda like a nitrous-system in essence... it took me some time to talk him away from it

speaking of tires, isn't stancefag shit the ultimate placebo for the guys who insist it dramatically improves a car's handling?

Nitrogen isn't really "placebo", its just that its usefulnes is limited to such extreme situations that its realistically completely fucking useless for street cars

If you shove your dick in the cigarette lighter, you can increase performance by injecting your car's combustion chamber with savage levels of testosterone.

I think they said the only advantage is the tire pressure doesn't go low as fast as normal air.
Also I remember there was a jewtube video comparing actual performance and the nitrogen filled tires did worse for some reason.

If you mean adjusting the camber angle then it can indeed improve handling, but that'll be in so small amounts and in racing-circumstances where they take very heavy, fast and sharp corners and the tire is basically achieving full contact only in such a corner/turn

Also; racers probably don't do it on 10% stretched tires

exactly, it's taking something they heard about race cars and dialing it up to such a degree that any advantage is completely negated and countered.

the idea of using nitrogen in your tires instead of atmosphere is that it's more stable. when your tires heat up or cool down, the change in pressure will be less when using nitrogen.
it's completely pointless for street cars, and barely useful for race cars, but every little bit helps in competitive racing. generally people will change their tire pressure after the warm up laps anyway, but I guess just throughout the race it will be slightly more consistent.

I actually bought my car with nitro filled tires and was kind of pissed, but 6000 miles and 10 months later they have the exact same air pressure in them. I dunno if they just happen to be well made tires and seal perfectly or something, but I've never been able to do that on any car I've owned in 10 years
