Hey /p/, I'm taking an introductory art class (for credits of course) at my local community college. It is required of us to create 100 items of art by the end of the semester. In my typical fashion I have completed the entire assignment in one day with a week to spare! Here are my 100 photos of people. I will be dumping until I fall asleep. [EXIF data available. Anybody know anything about this camera in pic related? I'm thinking about getting one as my first camera because of my tight budget. Looks like I can get a new kit for $300 at my local shop. The Single Best Shot You Took In November

Monthly thread! Let's see the #1 shot you took in November. If you want critique, ask for it and I'll give you some. Please give others comments and critique. Practicing discussing photos is as important as practicing making them. If you think a photo is shit, say why or you'll likely be ignored. Remember to edit before posting!

Q: Are boobs becoming a photography gimmick in modern times? Of course, there are countless examples of bare breasted women in classical art throughout the years, but the women featured in many of those kinds of arts weren't portrayed the same. They were mothers, or patients, or were dining upon something, etc. The point of the photo wasn't them as a subject, often, it was them as a vessel for portraying a larger feeling. Nudity in photos throughout the 50's up to the 70's existed to challenge the norms of what we found acceptable and attractive, and about what a Woman was or should be. The women chosen weren't always outwardly attractive, and their stances were often that of power. The photos were as much about what they were challenging as much as what they included. In 2014, is there a constructive goal for using nudity in photos? /p/ as an example, the models used are more often than not very attractive women in seductive poses. Is there a point to the nudity besides the nudity itself to garner attention? I understand the following argument: >muh art But please, elaborate. I love tits. I just want to understand which tits are art and which tits are for fapping.

The challenge this week is nature, something which is often associated with the organic and perhaps the pastoral. Bonus points for rawness. As usual, no pulling photos form your archive, the whole point is to get you out taking new photatos. Good luck and have a great weekend /p/haggots!

Hey /p/, I wanna start getting into slide film. I have the dosh for a Texas Leica so money's not an object here, I'm just curious what resources you guys have / tips for shooting slide film. A few questions: 1) I live in Manhattan so would B&H have a decent amount of slide film to stock up on? 2) While I want a 690, I wouldn't be averse to a 6x6 either, anyone have experience with them? I'll dump some 6x6 and 6x9 pictures for you guys to enjoy. [EXIF data available.
