Urbex Roadtrip - Italy

>do a thread pls
This is an abandoned clothing factory that we visited on part of our Italian urbex roadtrip back in June. Photos are mainly from the factory floor.
Within the small town this resides in, perched amongst mountains, it is by far the largest building there, taking up most of the town, apart from a football field. It’s no wonder that it became abandoned as there are no manufacturing centres for at least a hundred miles.
The building was probably built in the late 50’s / early 60’s although I couldn’t really pin a date on when it was last used, the calendar on the wall of the offices was 1981 and there was no sign of any office computerisation. The living quarters and other rooms were all of 60’s / 70’s vintage… quite simply a proper time warp.
I can’t find a shred of information about the company on the internet, nor was there much company literature around, it all seemed to have been cleared out… Presumably they folded long before the internet.

Long story short, I have to create a music video.
It needs to be based on anything japanese.
I'm enrolled in a foreign language(japanese, it was the only thing they offered otherwise I'd have to travel to a different campus) elective, and one of our instructor's requirements is this.
Basically, I want to copy this since it seems to be the least cringiest
I've googled around but was wondering if you guys had some input. The stop motion video doesn't need to be "clean" or "fluid" as seen on the video.
Should we just walk around town and take a picture every step?
Pic related, it's the band performing live.

Sort of new to this hobby.
But I'm thinking of selling my current gear.
Main reasons are: photos are too blurry sometimes, the focusing is unsatisfactory. Can't zoom, I think this cause of my lens.
I think these are my biggest complaints.
This is what I have:
Sony LA-EA4 - adapter
Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art - Sony
And here are some photos I did:
I've used Nikon DSLR 3 years ago, maybe I should stick with DSLRs and not mirrorless devices, these are weather proof usually

I shot a wedding video today, so there was a photographer there taking photos. my buddy who was helping out with a second camera for me, not a photo guy even mentioned this, but the photographer seemed like she took like 5 pictures at the ceremony, and didn't really move around much.
Then at the reception, it seemed like she would take like one photo of the person doing a speech and then that was it, spent most of the time standing around. But they did spend some time away taking the group shots with family.
Are there wedding photogs out there that really just focus on the "posed" photos, like the family pictures, and not really care about anything else?
Or was she just useless?
Also, I was a best man at a wedding and I had to hold in my cringe when the photographer was holding down her built in flash to stop it from going off when we were taking photos out in the direct sunlight... Then she photoshopped rainbows in to some of the photos..
