Anyone with a Canon 600D or experience with a Canon 600D have any tips for higher exposure in dark rooms? Don't give me shutter speed or aperture bullshit.

Selling Prints

Been doing the photography thing for quite a while now and I've had a few pics put onto canvas. They're gathering dust in my house at the moment and I'm looking at selling them to some shops or motels around my area. I don't particularly want to walk in and go "Oh hey man wanna buy this canvas?". Surely there's a better way to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pic not related. [EXIF data available. /p/ photobook 2.0

Okay, so this is going to happen. Submissions will open up in mid-January for 1 week. Everyone will get 1-2 submissions in the book. Give some thought to what images you will be submitting. Like Bart's book you can include a short statement and your name/trip. I am also going to need 2-3 filler images similar to the roll call classic painting and the /p/ is gay light painting. I'm also open to what the text should be. I'm terrible at that sort of thing. After submissions close I will compile the book and post a preview here on /p/ for review. The review will be open for 1 week after which the final edits will be made and the book will be available for purchase. More information and actual dates will be given in the submission thread. Remember the goal of this is to have fun and produce something that we as a group can enjoy and be proud of. >Does anyone have a good list of tripfags and their contact? >E-mailing me now is pointless, a separate e-mail will be made for this project and e-mails to my personal accounts will be ignored. Thoughts on the D7000?

I currently have a nikon d3100 that is a family camera with a couple of kit lenses and I have kind of outgrown it IMO and I don't want to spend a lot of money and was thinking about buying a nikon d7000 (better sensor, af motor, better low light performance, etc) I can get a second hand one for $1100 AUD with two batteries, an 18-105 kit lens, a tripod (better then the one i have) and a camera bag. OR I can buy one on grey import for $1165 with the same kit lens, brand new. (I am planning to get a couple of prime lenses with it as well and a decent zoom lens in a couple of months when i get some more cash) TL;DR: which is the better deal on the d7000 or should i buy something else?/What is a good dslr in this sort of range (Pic sort of related, it's a shot of mine from Bribie island QLD) [EXIF data available. Long exposure

Hey /p/. Just got a Panasonic TS50 for Christmas. Not some Jesus camera I know, but I've always been interested in taking long light exposure photos. I have a tripod as well. If anyone could help me out or show me some kind of guide, that would be awsome. Specifically want to try it with a light source. [EXIF data available. Hey /p/, I figured this would be the best board to ask this on because /p/ sometimes handles videos, and I need some help with audio from my video recording If there's a better board to ask on feel free to point me there Anyway, I have this video track, pretty much an interview, and mid way in you can hear some people in the background talking and laughing, which I want to get rid of. Basically I want to extract the vocals However, the tricky part is, the interview was done in a tattoo parlour and the tattoo machine is going (on purpose) so you hear the hum of the tattoo gun (again, on purpose), so Audition noise reduction won't work tl;dr how to get rid of background voices

Does anyone know what this stuff on my camera is? It looks similar to when battery acid leaks but it's only around the eyepiece and a little bit on the shutter dial and film advance lever too.. Shooting video with a DSLR

Are there any rules of thumb for shooting video with a DSLR? I just bought one for video projects. I'm fairly familiar with video itself, but I was wondering if DSLR (Canon EOS 550d) brings anything new to the mix. Sorry if this thread pops up every day. I'm not a frequent lurker on this board.

Are these good? First try need advice On Photoshop.

So I have this project for my photography class, and the subject I have to photograph is Courage. I'm in need of inspiration because I somewhat lack creativity. What would be some non-cliche photos? I need 15, but I mainly want to discuss ideas. image somewhat related, I own a D90
