E-6 Processing for $5

Hey friends, I know this is advertising, but I thought I'd let you know that the store I work at is offering mail-in E-6 processing for 35, 120, and 220 for $5. Which from what I can tell is one of the cheapest out there. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271147587127&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Looking for nude women amidst beautiful landscapes like this incredible swiss mountain range. I'd rather the women not be so provocative, though. Perhaps something a bit more tasteful, no? In return,I shall post this entire photoset

Hey /p/ This is my first time here; I know NOTHING about photography. Can you help me a little? I'm in the market for an entry level digital camera. I don't need anything special, I just want something I can use to take pictures that don't look like shit. The Sony DSC S5000 is on sale where I live, is it decent? Is it terrible?

Hey /p/ I always wanted a professional camera, but I just never got the money. (Why are they so damn expensive?) Recently I got some, but I still can't spend at least 500 € for an okay SLR, so I was thinking about buying something cheaper, as I'll probably never have enough money for an actual camera. Is there any camera that's not shit and costs maximally 300 € (400 $)? I've been looking for them, but the problem is I don't know much about cameras yet and everybody tells me something else. Your help would be greatly appreciated

Hey /p/ I cam here about a week ago to ask about which camera I should buy for when I go travelling this summer, a couple of people recommended this Canon s95 and after looking it up I decided to order one, it just arrived today, I'm not a photographer so I'm not incredibly clued up when it comes to all of the settings, I understand basic composition and such since i'm a painter but I was just wondering if any of you have any basic info I should know about that could help me take some better photos, thanks in advance!

Nikon lens fittings

I own a Nikon D70, and I periodically check out sites like ebay for more lenses. But I'm confused. For instance, there's a Nikon AF-S DX 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED VR lens for D3100 D3200 D5100 D90 D7000 LP. Also, a Nikon AF 50mm f/1.8 D Prime lens D7000 D300s D700 D800 D600 D3s D3X D4. No mention of the D70. But I'd always thought that Nikon were like Pentax, a Nikon lens would work on any Nikon SLR, stuff like metering and auto-focus depending on the camera model's technology. Am I to understand that lenses like those I've described will NOT work with a Nikon D70 DSLR? [EXIF data available. I'm looking into getting a new camera for my small business and want to step up from my point and shoot. Do you guys have any suggestions for cameras that would be appropriate for product photography and my own general use? I'm just really overwhelmed by all the choices. My budget is roughly $500 AUD but I'm willing to put more in later on for lenses and such if there is a need. Cheers.

Where can I found the manual ?

RE: Rangefinder?

Hi /p/, I've been using my DSLR for quite a while now. I've gotten a wee bit bored and tired of cugging the thing around, and i've been wanting to learn the ropes of a rangefinder for a while. I know there's the Fed leica copys, Canon, Electro rangefinders, but I'd like to get a good rangefinder that I can use as many lenses as I can: just if I win the lottery and manage to get a digital rangefinder. Have you /p/hotographers taken acting courses to try to connect to your models/get more out of them? I do more video than photography and I'm considering taking some basic acting lessons to learn how to communicate better with modelss/actors but I can't act for fuck.

I know I'm gonna get raped here and probably deserve to burn in hell for all eternity because I use deviantart but I swear I intend on moving from it at some point soon... Hi /p/. So how does one go about building a strong portfolio? I love taking photos, I love the whole idea of immortalizing fleeting moments and making beautiful/emotive images. I don't think I deserve the title "photographer" yet though. And that's what I want to work on.
