Hi /p/. I'm not much of a photographer (I occasionally help friends take photos for clothes they've made), but I do a lot of video projects, so I've got a 60D with the standard 18-135mm lens. I wasn't happy with how shaky it looked, so I got a merlin steadicam 2 with a vest.
I've had it for about a week, and balancing it has been extremely hard, but I'm about 90% of the way there. I've just got some slight pendulum issues. I've got quite a few hours to just practice tomorrow. I know this isn't going to be instant, and I know this isn't going to work perfectly without a lot practice - but what can people tell me to help me properly balance my merlin that last 10%? What similar experiences have people had?

Hey guys, I got some gear today for payment for doing a photo shoot for some friends. I haven't really followed Nikon for a while now, so I was wondering if you could tell me what you guys know about this camera and lenses? thanks.
