I wanna try out some new films and I've found these ones from Rollei that give great results. Rollei SUPERPAN 200, Rollei Retro 400S, Rollei RETRO 80S. Does anyone have experience with them on 35mm cameras?

Good wide angle lens

/p/ I have a d5100 and I'm looking for a good wide angle lens that has built in autofocus motor. The tokina 11-16 seemed great, but it's really the top of my budget. Is there another lens i'm overlooking? pic related, it's my dslr

/p/, in what situation would you see a noticeable difference between a kit lens zoom and a decent prime? I'm comparing 2 pictures I took at the same settings with my Pentax 18-135 and my 50 1.7, and there isn't that huge a difference between them. I'm looking at one where both are at f/5.6, and one where both are at f/8, and I can't really see the superiority of the 50 all that well. I did use an on-camera speedlight, don't know that makes a difference. So what sort of things should I try taking pictures of to really see the difference? [EXIF data available. First Full Frame DSLR Choice?

I know this is gear-fagging, but I'm kinda lost here... I have always used film cameras, but recently I started to use a little Ricoh GRD for some fun. I liked it so much I've decided to get a full frame DLSR. I'd love to stick with my little Ricoh, but I miss bokeh, interchangeable lenses and I want to be able to shoot decently in low light. I will use the camera mostly for street photography, but also product/food pictures and the occasional portrait. I've previously used a Nikon D3s and Canon 5DMKII a couple of times at work. That is as far as my experience with these kinds of cameras goes. I realised I like the feel of the Canon EOS series immensely, but the performance and general IQ of the big Nikon impressed me more. I was leaning towards a Canon EOS 5D MII or a Nikon D600? Are there any other good Full Frame DSLRs I should take for a spin. [EXIF data available. 5dmkii 2:35.1 aspect ratio

Hey guys I was wondering if it's possible to get a 2:35.1 grid in the live view mode on a 5Dmkii? I've been looking around online but can't really find anything, so i'm guessing it's not possible. It would help a lot to be able to get a 2:35.1 grid or outline of some sort on the live view so instead of kinda just... winging it and hope it will look good when it's cropped, being able to get some good proper shots. Did anyone of you do a project on gestalt theory? I'm in serious need of several images that show the gestalt theory. Similarity, continueation, proximity, closure, common fate, past experiance

I've got the chance of an Epson 2580 scanner for £25, would be nice to be able to scan my own 35mm film but is this even worth that?
