Hey /p/ I'm trying to download the trial version for Photoshop CS6 because of an assignment I have due for my photography course (It's due tomorrow). Now, whenever I try to download either the legit copy, or a pirated copy, Adobe Application Manager pops up and Photoshop downloads fine, then when it goes to install, it gets to 2% then pops up with a message saying there is an error. I go to the message summary, and this is what it says: Exit Code: 15 Please see specific errors and warnings below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW051 ... -------------------------------------- Summary -------------------------------------- - 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s), 0 warning(s) ERROR: DW051: Dependency of session payload {CFA46C39-C539-4BE9-9364-495003C714AD} CoreTech Adobe SwitchBoard 2.0 2.0 has changed. ERROR: Media DB Error : 6 Now, I googled the error message and basically nothing popped up, and all Adobe keeps saying is to download and use the adobe cleaner app, which I have done numerous times now. Anyway, they said on the forums to delete the adobe folder and try again. So I did that, and nothing. They said to go into program files, and uninstall CS6 manually, but then I go to do that, and another message pops up saying that an error has been encountered, and it cannot uninstall. So I performed a registry clean up, and tried again, still nothing. Does anyone know what is going on? tl;dr: Adobe is being an ass, any idea on how to get photoshop to run?

Best bang for the buck heavy duty light stand? I'm looking at the Paul Buff 13 foot air cushioned stand for $100, i'm sick of these cheap 'heavy duty' light stands falling apart and generally being shitty. PCB rates this stand at 25+ lbs load. Also looking at the Manfrotto 1004BAC which is basically the same price but rated at just under 20 lbs. what other options are there in the $100 range that will support over 20 lbs? Starblitz 3602 DTZ help

I bought this for 20e few days ago. It's Starblitz 3602 DTZ flashgun. It seems to be working nicely but I'm not sure of few things and I can't find the manual anywhere. 1. How do I put it to work as secondary flash that fires when my main flash fires? I've tried all the combinations I've thought might work but none seem to be working. There's a switch for "flash 1" or "flash 2" on the front side and loads of switches on the back side. [EXIF data available. Can someone tell me where I can easily download an image collection that contain geotagging in the EXIF data? Not concerned with the photo it's self, I just need about 50-100 images for my dissertation. I have tried flickr but hardly any have geotagging and when they do its not available for download. Can someone point me to a big collection? Thanks

Hey /p/ hoping you could please help me out with some newb questions. I'm getting my first bigboy camera and am choosing between the Nex 6 or the upcoming Nex 7n (for the sake of this post, I'm only interested in the sensor differences, not the other camera features). I'm not super knowledgeable about sensor specs, but I was wondering, since they both have the same sensor, but the 7 is 24mp vs the 6's 16mp, will that just make low light and high iso more noisy? Are there any other differences that will arise from the mp difference? My city is pretty gloomy and overcast most of the time, so I'm also wondering if that would make the 7n a no go (I really don't know what dimness different iso's come into play. [EXIF data available. Recent cheap things

Hey /p/, what cheap things have you been buying recently? Here's mine - a little unused Canon Prima BF-80 and 5 fresh rolls of Vista 200. Total cost - £8 ($12) We have 'Poundshops' in the UK where, as you guessed, everything is £1. Got the film from there and the camera from a charity shop. [EXIF data available. Does anybody have any experience with the Bronica SQ series? I just got an SQ-Ai from eBay, but the shutter locking ring spins freely and the shutter release button is stuck in. Is there any specific reason why it's like this or is the camera fucked?

Just ordered this lens. It's the Canon 70-210 f/4 from the late 80's! I got it for a bargain price so i thought i'd buy it and give it a try on my 5D. Anyone used this lens before? User feedback would be appreciated.

So they just posted some samples from the D7100
