Street Shooter, X100s vs Ricoh GR, Decision?!

I know, I know, it's gearfagging, but I genuinely need to know, which would suit me for street photography...
I usually shoot street with just an Olympus XA and some Tri-X, but the little devil is crapping out and I felt it was time to invest in a compact digital for street photography.
I feel the X100s and Ricoh GR are the only cameras out there that would give me the portability and image quality to replace my old XA.
FujiFilm X100s Pros:
>Best IQ of the two
Ricoh GR Pros:
>28m Lens My Favourite Focal Length
>Amazing Ergonomics and UI
My main concern is that the Ricoh will sacrifice IQ, but that the Fuji is just too big to carry with me everyday.
Studio Lighting Kits

Longtime lurker, not just passing through....So I've got about $1000 to spend on camera equipment. I was set on the Canon 100mm 2.8L macro, but I'm thinking I might put the money into lights instead. I've looked at Paul C Buff stuff and cheaper stuff on Amazon like Cowboy Studios and Neewer. I'd like to get at least a two light setup (I have a 430ex II I can use too, so I want 2 MORE lights). I don't need a ton of power. I'll mainly be setting up an in-home studio for my kids/family/friends/pets. I'd like to be able to upgrade the kit down the road, so compatibility is important. I could always stick with the macro or even pick up a 24-105 f4. My lens collection looks like this: 17-40L, 50 1.8II, 70-200 F4L 70-300 5.6 junk-tele, and 18-55 kit lens.
TLDR: Need lights- buy kit or piecemeal? Buy lens instead?

Filters: Resin vs Glass

Hello dear /p/hotographers,
I am new to photography. Although I want to go pro soon. I 've already ordered a 5DMiii so I can use for my new job (i started with a Nikon D50 and I 'm still with that)
Anyway the reason I make this thread is to ask more about the filters. So far I only use ND filters and I apply more colors if needed in PS.
I 've been considering to get some good square filters for my new camera, including NDs, and color filters.
I 've found in the interwebs this new company called 84.5 which has cheap filters but they seem good. They even got awarded.
Although those filters are made from resin and not glass. To be specific they 're made from CR-39.
My questions is this:
Considering I am not going to keep these filters for quite some time, should I buy the resin (CR-39) ones, or should I find glass filters?
Pros & Cons?
Thanks for any reply.
pic related: its a photo with filters of this manufacturer without any processing.

I have a bunch of friends with a lot of potential in a bikini, and I'd like to start doing swimsuit photography.
There doesn't seem to be much information online regarding tips/tricks, recommended styles of lenses, best lighting practices, etc.
Have any advice, /p/?

Hello /p/. I know pretty much nothing about Photography, I'm highly interested and got myself a Nikon D5200 together with the 18-105mm kit lense + a 70-300mm Tamron lense.
I love nature, animal and macro photography. I'll post some of the pictures I made during the last week where I tested the camera on sunny days in Parks around my hometown. I edited all pictures sligthly in PS (contrast + saturation).

This is a gearfag thread that won`t find its answer on Google, therefore I need the vast knowledge of some hardcore photographers like you guys in here
I want a camera to express my metrosexuality
Yes it will probably be used at cocktail parties and dorm room fun
Maybe some outside shots of homeless people
I wanted to get the 600D and the 18-55 F2.8, but thats much too manly, heavy and Darth Vader looking for my taste
I wouldve bought a Canon A-1, but I also need it to record video, so it sort of has to be digital
Anything else in this price bracket?
>inb4 paint the 600D pink
