Hail /p/ i just recently got hold of a factory-new california sunbounce pro reflector cloth. the downside is that it did not come with a frame. a new frame from the original company would cost me an astonishing 150€. for that reason i decided i will build this frame myself. i have quiet some experience in handling handheld sunbounce reflectors in various shooting situations and there have always been some negative characteristics about the original frame that i'd like to iron out in my design. i plan on contructing the frame out of the following materials: aluminum tubing for the lateral strenght (available at hardware stores or the next globetrotter - they even cut it in the correct lenght for free) the lateral aluminum tubes will have a folding joint in the middle so the reflector can easily be folded to half the size in its middle. (either for transportation or for decreasing the reflectors surface) 2 fiberglass rods could be latched into the aluminum tubes at their ends connecting both of them keeping the tension in the cloth up. 2 more screw-on mounts towards the middle of the aluminum tubing on each tube should provide mounting points for various types of grips or additional tubing for mounting it on a tripod, monopod, or long grip that allows you to carry it in a high position without having to raise your arms above your head the entire time. i came here to ask for your ideas what other features could be implemented in the frame to make shooting with it more comfortable and flexible. so if theres something you have always wished for in a hand held reflector, post it ITT. >a gorillion years in ms paint

>start shooting film >like it >realize all film is made with gelatin >not using any animal products (gelatin is an animal product) >almost cried My options are; 1. Start shooting digital 2. Buy expired, second-hand film (I wanted some fresh film) 3. Daguerreotype (Not interested) I can't afford FF so I'll get a stupid crop camera to use my lenses. Maybe I'll pay the ridiculous prices for expired film.

Hi /p/ I got a little photo job, I need to take pics of the rooms and the inside of a small hotel for their new website. The problem is my equipement is limited: Canon 50d, tamron 17-50mm, canon 50mm + chinese flash, and the rooms aren't very big. I also have a very nice old wide-angle: tamron adaptall 17mm in a very good condition, but in a crop digital is not a big deal. So should I rent a Canon D5 MarkII and use the tamron 17mm with an adapter, or should I rent a Canon EF-S 10-22mm for my canon 50d? Or should I rent other suff? Any help is appreciated. I'm 25 and drifting, my life fucking blows and I gotta get outta here. The only thing I like now and have interest in is photography and I should probably goto college since I never did that. Is it a smart idea to go to college for photography? Everyones bugging me to go to school and do something with my life > I say I like photography and that's what I want to do > "no pick something else"

Hey /p/, i've recently got back into shooting film and shoot mostly fashion/model portfolios. I love the sort of snapshot, point and shoot, on-camera flash style of Juergen Teller, early Terry Richardson etc... Can anyone recommend some fashion photographers who shoot that aesthetic? Photographers still using film would be a bonus. I need some insipration! Cheers!
