Can I get a C&C?
In return I'll C&C a photograph of one person.

Let's try and start a chain!

Nice and clean, the composition would be better if the little river would actually lead somewhere. Also, the colors are not all that interesting. Here's mine.

cool concept, looks like some sort of TV static!
Maybe it would have been better if the sky was a little more colorful but that's OK.

First time posting on /p/, hi guys.

OP here

Very interesting photograph. The lines create sort of levels of the photo and the colours, being very evenly split, really add to the dynamic.
Maybe a faster shutter speed could have darkened the clouds to give them some detail and move the land and water either up or down to lie within the boundaries of the rule of thirds.
Overall very nice and interesting.

it really does make you think about using rule of thirds, now does it?

i got 2 suggestions
1. try using the burn tool on the cliff in the back. Right now its a little hard to figure out where the hill in the foreground end and the one in the background begins. Making the back hill a little darker could help that.

2. Try separating the colors a little more in lightroom. Right now the greens and yellows look a little too similiar, thus making them seem uninteresting as some anon pointed out earlier.

>bonus points: crop it to 4x5. the sky doesnt have much going on and seems empty. If it was me i'd get rid of some of it, but I'm also pretty partial to the 4x5 crop in vertical photos.
