Zip Dry or not

Hello, I am new to this papercraft thing and so far I'm really enjoying it. I'm making a frost dragon from Skyrim for my first project. I know, I'm probably biting off more than I can chew but it's so exciting watching it come together and I'm learning so much!
Anyway, I was on this disney experience website looking at the Wicked Wench ship from Pirates (by the way that website is great) when I went to their "tips" tab. It said emphatically not to use rubber cement.
The glue I got is Zip Dry and it is rather rubber-cement-ish even though it doesn't say specifically that it is rubber cement. Is this a suitable glue? I think I'm going to have to get some super-glue since the REALLY tiny bits turn into a big gummy mess when I try to use the Zip Dry on them. If I use an amount that is proper, it dries way too fast (go figure!) and in order to keep it sticky and useful I have to use gobs and gobs it seems. The great thing is once it dries I can just peel it off the model but I don't really want to HAVE to do that to the whole thing, skinning it when I'm finished.
I noticed the sticky saying something about Aleene's. Should I just ditch this glue that I have and get that stuff? How is it different?
