/hm/ is a trainwreck

/hm/ needs better janitors/mods who will actually delete the shitty threads
>>581683 (this asspie only starting posting on /hm/ when you assigned a regular janitor/mod
to monitor over /hm/ a few weeks ago...I believe one of the janitors is involved with constantly
making these threads with this guys pics everyday of the week)
>>579950 (threads like this always show up on /hm/ and never get deleted despite there being
assigned janitors and mods, wtf?)
>>580880 (what this guy is doing is illegal, he poses as a girl on webcam and gets straight guys to get naked and jerk off for him, he belongs on the sexual offender registry along with other criminals IMO)
>>576218 (124 posts , 12 images ...this is typical of a /hm/ thread...all discussion no photos of handsome men posted. HM is suppose to be a image board right? Yet threads like this are allowed to last for weeks on end.)
Also child porn, jailbait, and underage twinks are constantly posted and left for hours on end on /hm/...
This is suppose to be /handsome men/, anyone who posts "twinks" should be automatically banned.
Do a better job at assigning janitors/mods m00t. Even better create an automatic system that allows threads which get enough votes against it to be voted off for deletion.
/s/ should be the model that /hm/ follows...yet you have allowed /hm/ to become a trainwreck!
Wordfilters on /v/

Can we please set certain words to be wordfiltered on /v/?
Like "drone." I just hear this so fucking much, and all it is is people taking the old term "biodrone" and taking X company or X product and adding "-drone" to the end.
I'm sick of hearing it over and over and over again, and I'd love to see it finally rid of altogether.
Maybe wordfilter "xD" as well, the ironic shitposting has been in full swing lately, and I don't see mods/janitors really doing anything to prevent it. /v/ DID get new moderator staff recently, correct?
Why is /pol/ So Fucking Retarded?

Is it because you finally figured out that the stormfucks run that bitch and there's no point attempting to reason with a bunch of loose anus-ed mongrels, who shit into eachothers mouths, then fuck their shitty mouths with their cocks, thus getting tons of feces installed into their urethras?
I think so. Remember to look out for the same tired rhetoric ("naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews"). The same key phrases ("Anti-racist is a codeword for anti-White", "Africa for the Africans, Asia for the Asians, White countries for everybody"). The same bullshit about "white genocide". It's all in their talking points (http://mantra.awardspace.us/). And remember, they try to act like they are one of us:
>"Know your target audience and wrap our message around what appeals to them. Young adults want to talk about education fees and housing prices, Teens want to talk about music, Old people want to talk about pensions, etc. Try to connect with the people using their language/colloquialisms e.g. "Dude" "Mate" "Bloke" "Howdy" "Yeah" "Lol" "Rofl".
They also police /q/, swarming upon every thread that mentions /pol/ or stormfront, usually filling it up with shitty infographics and derailing it into tons of shitposting about Jews, Liberals, Gays etc... No, this is not a raid, as they've been here for quite some time. Now they spread their shit all over other boards. Don't fall into their trap. The best thing to do when you see a stormfuck thread is to SAGE, REPORT AND HIDE.
REMEMBER THE TRUTH!
Split /v/ (Again)

Sorry to make yet an other /v/ thread, but I think now is the best time for discussion considering the timing of the /v/GAs 2012.
The /vg/ / /v/ split was one of the best things to happen to 4chan - people can finally talk about video games, on /vg/. However, it's obviously not possible to discuss every video game on /vg/.
I think /v/ is being a bit abused now; it has essentially turned into a "clubhouse", dominated by a vocal minority. It's nearly impossible to discuss video games on /v/ without memes, sagebombing and derailment, especially with some (types of) games. While I think current /v/ is a good place for staying on top of video game news, I know a lot of people don't consider /v/ a place for discussion.
Too many posts fall into this category:
>Something about Anita Sarkeesian
>Disdain of anything remotely Asian
The problem is embodied and made worse in the /v/GAs. The most toxic aspect of this sort of posting is the mentality is the belief that /v/ is some sort of hivemind, and if you're not like this, then you don't belong. Not only did the creators of the /v/GAs display all of the listed problems, but they advertised their show as being "on behalf of /v/", as if this is how we all are. And it's spreading to the whole site. What's more, when new people come to 4chan, they'll think that this is acceptable, this is what you do.
I would suggest copying Futaba - as I am sure some of you are aware, there are quite a few boards that have a set topic, with a counterpart board, which is essentially /b/ with a flavour of said board ("flipside"). So think /v/, with /vb/ - Video Game (Vidya) Culture.
Let's all make 4chan a better community.
