I was reading a lecture note on Linear programming, anyone care to explain how can we got from the Lagrangian in (1.5) to (1.6)->(1.11)?

"Let's assume that the Earth-Moon distance is doubled (but the Moon's mass remains the same) so it becomes 7.7 * 10^8 m. Calculate the period (in days) of the Moon around the Earth using the Kepler's 3rd law. Express your answer with three significant figures. Mass of Earth = 5.974 * 10^24" I'm pretty sure I have to use this equation for period (T), but it gets fucked up in my calculator every time I try. T = 2??[R3/GMe]
