Hi \sci\ , are their any liquids that don't mix with water but also stay suspended and do not sink or float? I'm wanting to make a 3d sculpture suspended in water, it would be nice if I could also colour the liquid if there is anything suitable.

18. starting my last high school this september (12th grade?) i majored Computer Science in high school. and im really good at programming (100% in all the 9 test) still. i kinda suck at maths and physics. i get around 60%-70% in tests my last year's total average was 80% the thing is, i need to do real good in maths and physics this year to get into a good university and major software engineering. how do i get my shit together in maths and physics? i was really good at them 3 years ago. math including : derivability, complex numbers, logarithms, integral physics : electricity in general

Math degree holders and majors

Guys, what made you guys go into Math? I am currently 27 years old and I was wondering if I should go into Math. I have tried other classes and I just do not feel comfortable in any other class setting. With Math, I just do the lecture then go home and do Math for 3-5 hours. During high school and middle school I didn't even try in school. I pretty much just slept in every classroom, so I never found out if I struggled with Math or not. When I went to college, I started off with Elementary Algebra and worked my way up to what I am currently doing which is Differential Equations. At first it felt hard, but as time went on, I got used to Math. I really do not know how much Math changes as one goes into non-baby tier Math, but so far DE and such feels comfortable with me. Anyone in the same boat? Is it too late to major in Math? I was thinking of just getting into teaching and I heard to teach in a CC one needs at least a Masters. I do not have any dreams of solving the hardest equation or doing research.

The world is running out of elements, energy, and food. Why do people insist on having more children and not trying to limit/shrink the population.

Do college-anons actually remember pre-algebra/algebra/geometry or do you just go through calculus and only remember what you're currently working on in school?

ITT you post the calculator(s) and writing utensil(s) that you currently use >TI-36X Pro >Pentel Sharp Automatic P209 0.9mm >Pentel Twist-Erase III Automatic 0.9mm The Twist-Erase is nice if you don't want to have to pull out one of the hi-polymer eraser blocks every time you write, because the sharp automatics have tiny erasers that really shouldn't even be used, but they're both good. The TI-36X Pro is perfectly fine, but the metallic operator buttons, I'll never understand why they made that decision.

The Euler Brick (Vol. II)

1 more posts in this thread. [Missing image file: ]
This thread will be ALL ABOUT THE EULER BRICK, and related areas of number theory, particularly Pythagorean triangles (triples), and Diophantine equations. As a refresher, using my previously given definition of an Euler brick, "An Euler brick is a cuboid with three natural edges, and three natural side diagonals." So, in our cheesy 90's graphics OP image, the yellow and green lines all have natural (positive whole number) lengths. Since the figure is a cuboid, the edges (a,b,c) and side diagonals (d,e,f) satisfy the coupled Diophantine equations \displaystyle a^2 + b^2 = d^2 \displaystyle a^2 + c^2 = e^2 \displaystyle b^2 + c^2 = f^2 This is going to be a /long/ thread, as the author has some new observations to make, unproven conjectures to shepherd, and material to review. You, kind anon, are welcome and wanted to comment, ask questions, give insight and, if you can, BTFO of anything that I may say in the course of this thread.

If you are so smart, can your science, and math tell me why pepe, and wojak are the only successful memes created, or popularized by 4chan, and why even though pepe has been completely over used by the common internet sites, like facebook, instagram, and twitter, people on 4chan still use it, while most memes die because of this.
