### Schrodinger's Cat

Probably the best quantum mechanics video I've ever seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1YzFLy44ZM
Would any of /sci/ like to join this enthralling youtube argument? I swear, the comment field warps intelligence like mass bends spacetime. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHbYJfwFgOU&lc= [spoiler] Am I overdoing it [spoiler]

### WHY DOES HOT AIR RISE?

This is another question that is answered by current science, but answered very incompletely. >According to statistical mechanics, where air has greater kinetic energy it has a greater probability to occupy a higher gravitational potential than less energetic air. That is, the system tends toward maximal entropy. The statistics are based on observation, and explaining gravity with entropy is a dodge. We don't want an airy statistical mechanics, we want an old-fashioned mechanics that is capable of showing a physical mechanism. Once again, this question cannot be answered with current theory, which is why the internet and textbooks are full of bad answers. We need the charge field of the Earth to answer it. The charge field is an emission field of real photons, and their (summed) direction is straight up from the surface of the Earth, radially out from the center. This explains rising heat very quickly and simply because we now have a way to bring density into the gravity equations, with simple mechanics. A gas that expands into greater volume will cover more area and encounter a larger section of the charge field. So it will encounter a larger force up, and will rise. This simple mechanism also explains another mystery. It has never been understood how a gas maintains its energy, despite a colossal number of collisions. In a real gas, as opposed to an ideal gas, the collisions cannot be completely elastic. Energy must be lost over time to collision. But gasses have a way of maintaining energy, as if they had a constant source of propellant. They lose neither energy nor velocity, at least not to any extent we expect they would. Well, it turns out they do have a source of propellant, and that source is the charge field of the Earth.

### Pls help /sci/

OK /sci/, I am filling out a job application form and am posed with this question: What investments could (company) make to maximise its market position while maintaining a responsible risk profile? (the company specialises in commodity trading) can /sci/ recommend any answers, or anywhere I can look to help me to answer this question well. I am obviously looking for a low risk, large profit investment, but don't know enough about this area to answer this question well. background: I am a Maths/Stats grad applying for a trainee trading position and want to answer this question as well as possible, but have no experience in this area. pic slightly related

### Technocratic Meritocracy. Humanity's Future.

Why aren't you supporting the creation of a Technocratic Meritocracy, /sci/? That is the future of the human race. These 20th century "Modern" movements of global capitalism and communism are utter shit. I know you all laugh at Best Korea, but why do you support an equally broken and outdated system such as global capitalism? I don't even believe in the idea of "progress" (a "Modernist" idea) but ending this consumer culture and ridiculous monetary system we have would put human advancement on the front burner. We need technology. We need to advance towards our future and reward achievement. What do you say, /sci/?
Introducing a new and improved guide to MRI. Tips and suggestions are most welcome.
If I had to guess my post number on 4chan (assume it's a fast board so it's completely random), would I be better off using the same number over and over again or would it be better to change my number each post?
