Scientifically, why are Indian people so ugly? Like what evolutionary purpose does it have? pic related.

How is it that human consciousness has an effect on quantum mechanics experiments? What would happen if the scientist looked away?

Have Klinefelter Syndrome and other sex chromosome abnormalities always been around or did they pop up within the last 25 years? My tinfoil hat is telling me that our birth rates skyrocketing the world population to 7 billion may be causing more deformities to occur. Thoughts?

Is the double-slit experiment a proof for God or some kind of creator?

I'm aware of /sci/ and pretty much 4chan entirely's opinion on psychology. Is neurology just as bad, or is it ok? Pic unrelated, of course.

>that guy who always complains about the course not being "hard" or "challenging" enough when everyone else is struggling Why do they do this? Aren't they satisfied with their perfect GPAs and "best undergraduate of the year" awards if they find the course so "easy"? Or is it just an ego trip?

Post your questions that don't deserve their own thread in here. Tips for good questions: >provide context >check stackexchange first >if stuck half-way into a question, show your work so far Previous thread: >>8834047 Which vitamin/nutrient deficiencies can be self-diagnosed relatively easily/cheaply?

New Meme

New /sci/ meme. But seriously holy fuck linear algebra I is fucking exhausting. The proofs are easy and interesting but the first two components of the course are "matrices and determinants" and "systems of linear equations". At least we are almost done with this component and the next is vector spaces which means matrix hell stops now.

>8th grade science teacher tells class we're likely the one of the first generation of people that will live to 200 >turn 25 August of this year >still no big progress in anti-aging It's not fucking fair. Kids born in 2025 will probably get to live forever and see all the cool advancements in technology but we have to die like peasants at 83 right when things are getting good Fuck this gay earth

Caffeine

So what is the general consensus on caffeine around the /sci/entific community? I drink something around 90-160MG or so of caffeine a day, through the form of diet soda/coffee/tea, and I'm wondering if relying on caffeine to study is a good idea. Would a person be able to think more clearly and operate more efficiently on water than they would on coffee/soda?

sup /sci/ I just cut off a long term relationship with a friend who spent weeks trying to convince me that the earth is flat. How has your day been?

Uniform Distribution in Stats

If I have extra terrestrial life forms all 50 inches to 100 inches tall, what is the probability I pick one at random that is exactly 78 inches? The distribution is Uniform.

Why can't /sci/ just let me believe what I want to believe about races being equal in intelligence? Why do you care so much that I don't share your views? Don't you want a world where people are seen as equal, regardless of what some scientist somewhere thinks about it?
