You are Kusajishi Riku, and you're dead.
Of course “Riku” isn't your real name, it's just what the people here started calling you and you ran with it. Many people in the Soul Society arrive with no identity of their own, like you did, so the older residents give those newcomers names to use. At that point in your afterlife nobody was quite sure whether you were a tomboy or an effeminate young man, so they gave you a unisex name that could fit either case. “Kusajishi” isn't your family name either, for that matter. It's the name of the 79th District in the northern region of the Rukongai, which is what this expansive world of the dead is called.
While there are some nice parts of this city, Kusajshi is a slum whose pretty name belies its brutal, hard-scrabble nature. The only places more barbaric than your old home are the #80 districts, like Zaraki. Only two kinds of people ever come from there: raiders and refugees. The refugees all tell horror stories about life in the outermost ring of the afterlife, while you've never talked with a raider. Usually it's much smarter to run whenever they show up, and after years of practice you've gotten quite good at it. But most of that is in your past now.
You left Kusajishi about two years ago due to a peculiar fact of your new existence in Soul Society, which is that unlike the vast majority of your fellow Rukongai residents you can feel hunger. If you don't eat, you feel like you could probably die... again. So you decided to move to one of the posh inner districts, where food is more plentiful. In Hokutan district, where you live now, they don't really need that stuff anyway. It'd make it far easier to justify stealing from them even if they didn't normally treat you like trash.

Hey /tg/, I'm starting a campaign that requires a lot of modern maps for a war situation. Stuff like beaches, outskirts of cities, cities themselves, trenches, etc.
I have no problem editing things in Photoshop or fireworks.
Where would I go to find resources like that?

You are Giles, Master Thief, babysitter extraordinaire, and professional mediocre brother.
Your job has taken another interesting turn, as you’ve now gone from the princess’s babysitter to kind-of party guest.
Hidden in the depths of the palace, you found a secret exit. You aren’t quite sure where it goes, but in a pinch ‘out’ is as good a direction as any.
Tonight is shaping up to be an interesting night full of dancing and merriment, plots and counterplots. You get the feeling that bloodshed is becoming inevitable.
But no matter how long anyone has planned for this night, it will all come down to a Devil’s whim.

Just as the title says, this is a thread for all those not-so-real beasties that you think need more love in campaigns, /tg/!
Me, I've never seen a Dryad outside of the lewdsphere or the hippie cube, and I think it's high time that changed, don't you?
Scottish Nationalist politician caught playing Warhammer

Scottish Nationalist (SNP) local government councillor Douglas Campbell left a council meeting on a new retail park with no explanation TO GO AND PLAY WARHAMMER!
>SNP opposition leader Douglas Campbell had suddenly left the vital meeting without saying where he was going.
>But as they knocked back a crucial element of the multi million pound Heathfield Retail Park expansion, he was huddled round a table with other men playing fantasy war games.
>The vital vote he missed went to a narrow 11-10 verdict at Ayr County Buildings while he was half a mile away in the dimly-lit Games Workshop in Lorne Arcade.
>The councillor, who turns 60 next Thursday, had been in County Buildings for an earlier debate on the Waitrose bid to come to Ayr – granted by 17 votes to five.
>Campbell, a councillor for an astonishing 27 years, was refusing to quit this week despite snubbing the people.
>“If it’s true he went to play a fantasy war game, it’s unforgiveable.”
>“He is his fantasy world while we are in the real world trying to make this area better.
>“Douglas is very foolish if he thinks he can get away with this.
>In the Games Workshop the table is currently dominated by a medieval castle and on Thursday the shop staged a battle from 4pm until 8pm.
>Our informant saw Campbell clearly from the window, his face etched in concentration, focussing on the fight.
>Players enter an imaginary world and use all sorts of characters and foes, from lizardmen to Skaven, the man-sized rats.
Sadly it doesn't say which army he plays. What would you guess?

It's been 300 years since the discovery of the Tripp, a magical dimension used for FTL travel, and magic has been leaking into the galaxy.
While Scientist still are fumbling around figuring out the basics more and more life forms have been naturally adapting to it.
And now beings one could call "Mages" have started to emerge from most sentient species...
You are Lily, a budding Loli, that woke up on the rouge traders vessel "40 shades of red" not too long ago.
You joined their crew for the moment and today you are done with your training but have some time to socialize with the rest of the crew.
Welcome to Space fantasy Quest!

This is the world of Berilvo. A world of horrors, monstrosities, a forbidden magics. In Berilvo there are only 2 things. Sentient races and Monsters, with monsters being far more insidious and evil than those found in other worlds. The monsters, through the collective might of the other races, used to be held at bay. But a recent unknown turn of events has changed the monsters of all races. No longer are they unguided killers and ruthless creatures. Now they attack vital locations, murder important people, and invade unguarded lands en masse! Even more unsettling is the fact that not only have monsters been invading but their lands have been growing each day, due to the presence of more powerful monsters deeper inside.
Many great kingdoms and races have fallen to the monsters assault, and only a handful remain against the assault. The strongest kingdom, Pohemlo, has decided that the advancement of the monsters must stop. To rid of the greater monsters they, along with the other remaining kingdoms, have decided to form specialized hunters and slayers of monsters, termed as Bounty hunters. A Bounty hunter hunts monsters for both a living and to survive. To ensure that they stay true to their job, all Bounty hunters are enchanted to where the only way to grow stronger and to survive is to hunt and kill stronger monsters, les their bodies die at the end of their shortened lifespan.
With the bounty hunters made, the monsters have become fiercer, greater, and more numerous than before, as they recognize a new dangerous enemy. Now is the time, the time for all sentient races to make their comeback and attain revenge for all those who died, and the Hunters will be both sword and shield of the assault.

All word and pixel /tg/-related lewdness is welcome here, so long as the rules are followed. Writefags, consider pastebin/1d4chan rather than dumping for long stories. Drawfags with uncensored pictures need to host their images offsite and link to them. For those of you visiting from other boards, err on the side of censorbars and spoilers if you're hesitant.
People especially appreciate it when you give them meaningful feedback and criticism, so make sure to do so. It's easy and both writefags and drawfags will love you for it.
In any case, enjoy! Remember to play nice and that all contributions and requests are welcome!
DISCLAIMER: Although requests are encouraged to promote a constant flow of new content, unfortunately not all of them can be fulfilled even at the best of times; don’t take it personally if we don’t get to you right away. Please try to expand your ideas - a bare-bones request doesn't give us much of a good idea as to what you want. Remember- have fun with it!

You are Lyra, a partially transparent, soft shelled arachne.
Your chitin is currently sensitive as can be- to the point where even a light breeze could send you into gales of laughter and shivering.
So you'll just stay inside, where it's safe, thank you.
On the plus side- Your shell is once again a lustrous red, shimmering with 'veins' of magma. And your hands no longer feel like fat sausages.
You're mostly healed!
Aside from your fleshy bits. But those are bandaged up, and you sat your mother down until she assured you that wouldn't be shedding limbs.
She said that you would never discarded your human or elf bits, which seems like an entirely loaded statement, but you felt a great deal safer after, anyways.
You still had a weird nightmare where your ears dropped off, and new, more sensitive ones replaced them.
And then your arms flew away on dragonfly wings, and you woke up with the strangest sense of vertigo.
Arms attached, though.
Your sister's house in warm in the morning- rays of sunshine moving across the floor in time with its ascent.
It is not, however, designed for your rather oversized family unit.
Your brothers have laid claim to the corner of the living room, while you took the rest with your friends- denied the use of your shell as a bed, they've spread themselves across the floor like monster throw rugs.
