So my buddy (somewhat) recently got hit by a car on his way home from work and, after waking up from a coma he'd been in for a month, has suffered a drastic personality change. The guy that'd be down for RPGs every day of the week is now out nearly every night, having one-night stands and is surprisingly charismatic. He isn't a jerk or anything, he's still fun to be around, but he could barely talk to a woman before the accident and now he's practically toying with every girl he meets. He says he'd still enjoy /tg/'an but he's too busy now, he's working overtime (read: would take any sick days he could to play vidya) and out when he's got a free night, usually in clubs about the inner city. I'm happy for him, but I want my gaming buddy back. The group just isn't the same, and we all miss the antics of his gung-ho rogue that he roleplayed perfectly. I come to you with a question:
How do I get my friend back into traditional games?

LAST TIME ON GUNDAM AGE QUEST!
Your name is Jake Crocker. You are 15 years old, in possession of a Gundam and currently on a bright-yellow Darwin Class vessel called “Armstrong” which is now being approached by the U.E. (Unknown Enemy). You have been forced to choose between going to jail or setting out on the “Armstrong” to find and catch the mutineer Grodek Ainoa who is in control of the Prototype Battleship “Diva” with the Gundam and its creator, Flit Asuno, supposedly working with him on board.
The “Armstrong” on the other hand is comprised of Federation academy washouts, rookies or nutjobs, however your time with the crew over the past day has seem to indicate they aren’t remotely as bad as the rumors suggested.
Now is not the time for reminiscing about the crew though, It is time for action! You have been ordered to report to the hanger immediately but you just finished the new operating system for the Genoaces using the data you’ve collected up to this point. It’s well put together, but completely untested. It could possibly boost the Genoace’s performance, or it could be buggy and doom the pilots
What will you do Jake?

Freak Quest time!
In this quest, you take the role of a big armed, friendly freak, who is currently adventuring with his lizard like friend Joey.
Previous threads can be found here:
In the last session, you finally reunited with Javak, and prepared to continue on your journey to the Yellow Bazaar. Before you left, you did some exploring in the nearby alleys however. There, you found a partly digested arm of the freak who had stalked you in the upper floor of the bar. Before you could find more interesting things, you found yourself in the way of a harvester grub and it's guardian, and were forced to retreat. A small gutterspawn also followed you back to Ivas, where it was unfortunately eaten by Joey.
After this, you finally departed towards the Yellow Bazaar.
>How this works:
Suggest an action and the freak will act. I will try to illustrate it as well as I can. Certain actions will require 1d10 rolls to see if they are successful. There are also slightly more complicated rules for combat:

Warhammer 40,000: It is the scale and depth. Anything can happen, and it does, all day, every day, at 250% maximum awesome. It is the over-the-top-80's, super-gritty-90's, and depth-demanding-2K's all blended together into one multimedia story. It harkens to the classic tales of the Gothic Age, the epic fables of Northern Europe, the darkness and detached sentimentalism of WW1, the corrupt tales of the urban underworld, the mind-warping fantasies of Lovecraft, and all while maintaining a sense of dark humor and romantic heroism." --Anon.
Medieval Europe was a Crappy Time to live

Why would anyone want to live in the middle ages? Unless you were a high ranking nobleman it was really shitty time to live. Especially since Shit (mostly Horse and Cow shit to be precise) was more often than not part of the house you lived in. Which would be a cramped affair with only one room for a whole family, which would be big. Most people were illiterate peasants or serfs bound to that social class BY LAW and never went more than 20 kilometers from the place they were born until they died, at an average age of 30 years. Peasants had basically no surplus that they kept, they produced just enough to feed themselves with maybe enough for a few pennies every month if they were lucky. Punishments were quite brutal, but crime was rife, often gangs of bandits could take over areas for decades and only the military could stop them. Cities (or what passed for them) were built with no sanitary considerations and just dumped their shit onto the streets. People in Mohenjo Daro in 2500BCE figured plumbing out, as did the romans. No wonder the Black Death happened. The church often had people executed for "heresy". There were frequent wars in which lands were generally ransacked by armies.
At least in Song China or the Islamic World at the same time things were not so set in stone and generally were run more efficiently.
And THIS shitastic period of human history is the free ideas bucket from which of escapist fantasy literature draws? Bizarre.

I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP TG.
I tried posting about this on /adv/ and /soc/ and got nothing but random useless criticisms. A few crappy ideas. Then I realized, this is literally what you guys are best at.
I really need a stage name, and I'm stuck! Basically, I have to create an alter ego, a new persona and name which will represent me as a performer and model, and stand out. My name will define me in my industry, and influence what kind of work I get, how successful I am, and what impression I make. It's like creating a character.
I'd like a first and last name that fits my persona or appearance. I like unique names, word names, and literary/fantasy names. My persona has to be seductive, but is classy, sharp, has an innocent vibe, mysterious, strong. I'd appreciate any help with my character as well, ideas for persona or how to expand on it.
Names I like: Autumn, Shy, December, Mischa, Aspen, Isis, Scarlett, Winter, January, Briar, Secret, Whisper, Audrey, Blythe, Kennedy, River.
Serious and well meaning help would be appreciated more than you could imagine. Any negative comments will probably be ignored. Even general character creating advice will help!

ITT things your DMs did to improve martial classes in 3.X and P&P
-Proficiency with ONE weapon they want at level 1, no exotics. For example, Rogue with bastard sword, without expending feat.
-One free feat at level at level 3 and other at level 6
-And New feats for martial classes like:
>You can repeat a roll, if the new roll is below 10 it counts as a 10. You can use this feat once per session. You can take maximum 3 times.
>You have X "fatigue" points equal you Con bonus, before rolling an attack with a melee or ranged weapon (no spells or spells alike) you can expend X "fatigue" points to add X to attack and damage. You regaing this points with at least 4 hours of rest.
PS: It didn't work much
