Uploaded a bunch of unofficial supplements that people seem to like/think are good or helpful; haven't tried any of them out myself
Managed to find somebody's scan of "Shadows of a Black Sun", a free RPG adventure module/tutorial given out at Free RPG Day 2013, and uploaded it. It handles similar to the Beginner's Game in terms of tips for the GM on how to be a GM for the game and explanations on how to use the dice through various actions. If you wanted to use the pre-made characters that were designed for it, you'll find that all 6 are in the Pre-Made Characters folder in the Core Game section

And I know that most of you know about the Explorer-focused sourcebook, Enter the Unknown, but also announced a a bit ago is a 96-page, three-act Adventure Module coming out this quarter called Beyond the Rim.

The wound in your stomach was cleaned quickly enough that it did not have a chance to fester, and Elana says that, avoiding strenuous physical activity, you should be back up to speed in a few days. It is concerning to you, though. Every day that you spend in recovery is a day the Iron Tyrant grows stronger over the Ikrin Peaks. After communing with the Emperor to explain the situation, you spend your days in recovery buried in research.
The Healer concedes to allowing Terra and Aurora to visit you once you're out of danger, Terra delightedly informs you that the spirits of the flowers surrounding the town have agreed to bloom in new and vibrant colors for a monthly dose of light from Terra's Light Totem. You congratulate her on her good work.
Now, the time for lying in bed has passed. You've upgraded the defensive totems in the walls as best you can. You'd like to depart as soon as possible, of course, but there are some things you may need to attend to first.

My game's big event is coming next month, the culmination of a year's worth of national/local plot plot in one mighty battle for the freedom of the world against tyrannical totally-not-Romans. Time for me to armour up.
Other than a shield, sword, armour, magical assistance and lots of poison, what stuff would you say is absolutely essential for surviving a line battle as a frontline footman?

Hey there /tg/. BMJ here with a V3 OD question.
Thus far, the V3 alpha is going well. Pretty happy with what we are seeing, so now I am laying the groundwork for the post-alpha materials, stuff that needs to be done before the public beta can open up.
This includes, among its materials, the Operations Director.
The Operations Director has always been the trickiest part of AdEva, and arguably the aspect of the game with the most potential. In V3 it finally has the room it needs to grow, and the good news is that its primary mechanical niche of serving as the commanding officer during battles is shaping up nicely.
But combat is only half of the game. The OD character themselves often can’t just follow the pilots around at all times, nor should they. There are a lot of tricks that can be pulled here, from multiple characters to controlling plot important NPCs to serving as a kind of co-GM. By and large, what happens with an OD out of combat is a matter of preference at this point.
So what do you prefer, /tg/? How have OD players been handled out of combat in your games? What worked there, what failed, and where did you feel they needed more options or support? When the rest of the team gets out of their Evas to do a life on the ground session, what do you want the OD to do at the same time?
