Just got to a point past where I ever expected to get. Face was like working blind, but it turned out better than I could have ever expected. Meet Saladin, Strateegic Haqq-bro. Still have some cleaning up to do on colors and a few lines I coloured outside of... but, well, worthy of bragging to my friends?
Also, Infinity: so far much, much better than Games Workshop (though I still play Ham because for reasons). But Infinity has given my balsa wood bridge-building skills from summers spent at the rec a use, and there just isn't anything better than that!
World map images!

So yesterday I did a thread about city/town map images. This time let's do a thread just with nice, high res world maps.
Whether you're after inspiration for a campaign you're running, or whatever, post your world maps!
Let's start with the best videogame world map that was ever made (and is one of the reasons why Morrowind is the best elder scrolls game). Back in the day every moment I wasn't spending playing Morrowind was spent going over this map and deciding where to travel next. Every ruin, cave etc is in the game.
(If you missed town maps and were interested, it was archived here: http://archive.foolz.us/tg/thread/21236426/)

There is something I like to discuss that I am tired of seeing.
How in fantasy settings, humans are a medieval/celtic like civilization, and the non-human beings (lizards, birds, cats etc) are aztec, japanese, arabs etc.
Don't you feel it is insulting, taking the humanity of a non-western civilization and making it something else just because it is different and exotic?
I honestly think it denigrates them by making the civilizations non-human, specially in this time and age, where the center of our thinking is the human itself.
I also think the alien theories where they teach civilizations outside of europe how to add 2 and 2 also denigrates them. It almost implies that they cannot "discover" reason by themselves and they need something to help them.

>I apologize for the absence had some serious studying come up, but it's good to be back.
Quick catch-up: You are Trina, a college student , deciding it was time to get a life Trina joined several tabletop gaming groups in an effort to make some friends.. She made fast friends with an upstart girl named Kim while playing a post-apocalypse game via her machinist character Lauren Geneare and stumbled into the unique world an odd introvert named Kelley. Trina joined an extremely interesting group of players for a western game and created Carmen Vasquez daughter of legendary bandito Eduard Vasquez searching to clear your family name in the town of Drummond. Carmen met a weasly looking man, a mysterious bottle-thrower, and the somewhat intimidating madame of the local bar and brothel.

Alright /tg/ so I had my first TPK last night from the player perspective.
An ex-PC guard who was watching our stuff threw it into the street, we tried to have words, rogue picked the lock, ended up not disabling the rune of alarm, I knocked on his door dwarven style with my axe, he opens the door glaive at the ready, my sweetheart playing the halfling sorceror used a wand of sleep on him KO'ing him, we put our things on the cart, crowd has formed shouting that we killed the guard, despite telling them he was asleep go check etc, drive away on our one mule cart, they follow, captain of the guard is called with his men, it is Tordek. That Tordek, yes. Tells us to pay 5000gp or else.
Being a dwarven barbarian I want to hang onto my hard won jew gold and tell him that wasn't going to happen.
Our dick ass thief shoots him in the arm with a bottle of alchemical acid from a nearby alleyway shouting at us to DRIVE. Tries to jump on the cart, gets pegged by Tordek, I drag him up with my halberd.
Tordek and his 5 men on destriers with long spears attack us, killing our lone, gimpy mule. Ultimately end up dying and having the sorceror torch the cart, the guards, and our bodies after casting grease.
So basically what I am getting at mates, is tell me stories of your TPK's. It was an interesting 45 minutes and I want to know I am not alone in PC stupidity.
