/toy/ I have to make a confusing decision in tomorrow. I sold a small lot of vintage 80s toys to a man in china about a month ago. I went well beyond the call of duty when mailing his toys. I sent him a tracking number AND a picture of the package at the post office, with the customs slip, and the receipt and the package about to go into the hands of the mail clerk.
Well, two weeks later he starts laying into me for a refund because he hasn't gotten it yet. I ask him to wait a bit more because he chose first class international which can be slow. He does. Well two more weeks pass and he starts up again. Man, he just lays into my ass. I get two messages every day.
And to make matter worse, the dude is insane. He just keeps ranting. And telling me crazy crap like how he has two kids and is 39 years old.
Like, I don't know toy. I just don't know. He's driving me crazy. I finally told him that I would give him a refund if he would just wait until 3 days before the paypal deadline. He agreed. Now its time and he is laying into me again. He has sent me 4 insane messages today.
I feel bad for the guy. We all want our toys. But he sounds like a scammer. There is no way he is for real. No one is this crazy. And why should I give him a refund for his own country losing his shit? I'm just a dude selling a couple old toys. I'm not a business. I'm not a store. I sold that stuff to help buy a text book, and here he is demanding a refund because he can't wait more than 40 days for snail mail.
