Some of you may already know, the 2013 4chan Winter Cup has been going on for the past two weeks. Since my replacement has been nowhere to be found, I stepped back in to help the team out. I just wanted to update those who may be interested but haven't been paying attention:
/toy/ has topped their group and made it to the round of 16. Beating /soc/, and /pol/ in stunning fashion (5-2 and 5-0 respectively). You can see the highlights of those matches here:
Day 1 Highlights:
Day 3 Highlights:
/toy/ will be facing /jp/ in our first match on Saturday, and hopefully be going against the winner of /wg/ - /mu/ in the Quarter finals.
In other news teams that have been relegated include: /co/, /vp/, /x/, /d/, /ck/, /k/, /m/ and /mlp/, so the Spring Babby Cup should be very good.
The bracket for top 16 and all information about the cup can be found here:
And /toy/'s team page is here:
I know this may be considered spam, and not everyone is interested, but I just wanted to remind those that are, the knockout round starts at 1PM EST on Saturday. If the thread gets deleted, I'll post a reminder before the games start just in case, but other then that I'm not going to spam or bump this. Since /toy/ has made the top 16, after this tournament we won't be playing until the Summer Cup, so maybe we can have another thread for player transfers before that.

>Police with submachine guns raced to the home of Ian Driscoll (pictured), in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, after he posted a new Facebook profile picture which had a toy gun in the background. The mortar gun was next to a TV remote control clearly showing its small size but someone who saw it contacted police. Five officers, including two armed with submachine guns, then arrived at his home.

Do any /toy/ soldiers personally know of any good toy stores in Portland Oregon? Im making a trip up there at the end of march and I've looked up a couple stores, but most of them are just vinyl toy stores. There's really nothing wrong with vinyl, but i prefer toys with articulation anything from sh figuarts, figma, marvel legends, d-arts, etc. Any suggestions are appreciated and in return heres some pizza.
