Am I the only one here who isn't a fan of unintentional part swapping figures. I'm all for customizing and replacing parts, but I'm tired of companies just copping out and playing off their shitty articulation as passable. My figures don't have to be tanks or anything, but I'd just prefer limbs not falling off as I'm posing them. Hands are fine, as removable parts, but Figuarts and there whole "pull this figure completely apart and rebuild it with different pieces" is kinda bullshit. If I wanted a model kit, I'd buy a model kit. Just give me a decent figure that can handle a shelf dive if I'm paying $70+ for it.

I just bought three of the older gunpla kits (pic related), and I'd like to know how I should go about painting them. I have quite a few MG and HG kits, but I've only ever detailed them using Gundam markers. For these kits, I want to do something special. What's the best way, and what's the best paint to use? I think my local hobby store only carries Testor paints, but I could always order online.
