the first thing a thief will do is justify his act, not detail his action, so i will do both.
i steal toys. i steal toys A LOT. almost every day. it's easy.
it started with Savers, which is like the Salvation Army, but better lit and not staffed by recovering alcoholics. all of their inventory is donated, and when they get toys they put a price tag on the large items like play-sets and vehicles and put them a shelf. the smaller items like action figures and accessories they put in plastic bags which they staple shut, and hang on pegs.
now there is no rhyme or reason to these bags other than "boy's toy" and "girls toy" so you'll find a Gundam in a bag with a Kung-Fu panda, or a White Boba Fett in a bag of Legos (bothe of these actually happened, but i'll get to that).
at first i would buy the whole bag, take what i wanted, and re-donate the rest... then something started to happen. i noticed the toys i had re-donated showing up again and again packaged with the toys i wanted. i had re-bought the same McDonalds toys mixed with the Star Wars figures i wanted... so i just started taking what i wanted, putting it in my pocket and walking out.
now i could go on and on about how this is "ok" because it's all donated and they're not losing any money because they didn't pay the manufacturer in the fist place, but i won't. it's still stealing.
now i've gotten bolder. i've read up on the holes in the Wal-Mart security systems and i plan on getting the entire Black Series of Star Wars. Why? because Hasbro has made it SO FUCKING EASY!
