>i don't have time to do this now, i have to work/sleep/watch anime/play videgogames/go to a party/fap/be a useless piece of shit
don't worry! just do it when you have the time and the idea for a photo
>b-but other anons will comment that my photos are s-shit
just then try to not make them shit, come on anon, give your best shot.
>your photos are shit, anon/OP
whatever, tell me what are my errors and i will try (read: TRY) to fix them, also post some of your shit, tough guy/girl.
>my photo is blurry
your cam must have a macro function, you know...a "flower" icon or something. and focus the toy or the scene you want to take the pic
>is too dark here
make a lighbox then or get some lights fucker. and put the lights near the figure/scene...
experiment with you camera to get the best results!

>Figma Roger Smith
>Knockout ROTF scout class

Welcome to the Gunpla/Plamo General.
For those of you just joining us, please read this guide. I've done my best to answer basic and commonly asked questions. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

>look for interesting funded projects on Kickstarter
>find some Vickangaroo who wanted to make a gigantic sea monster plushie called Mama, with small shrimp-like babies and all
>find out he sells other plushies, including pic related, on Etsy, go there so I can try and buy one for my little nephew
>he's all but dissapeared since the project got funded, his Etsy shopping page says "he's on vacation", his blog hasn't uploaded anything about Mama since almost a year ago, the Kickstarter page only has two comments from a guy asking if anybody's there at all
So are the rumors true about Kickstarter and how easy it is to scam folks with it? Have you had positive/negative experiences with some toy that interested you on this platform? Have you funded a project here? And most of all, is there some other site I could go to get my hands on a classic model of this Bunny? Shit's adorable.
Nerf thread: Best guns, best attachments, best setups

Just bought this motherfucker at Target for 40% off. It's my first Nerf gun and I'm loving it so far. What I'm wondering is, what are some good attachments for it? I'm considering buying a 25-dart drum for it and maybe a Retaliator foregrip. Thoughts?
Also Nerf General. Discuss favorite guns, show off your own guns, etc

Let's have a responses to your collection thread. Good reactions, bad reactions, doesn't matter.
>Little cousin comes over (he's like 13)
>See's a WIP Gunpla
>Picks it up for like 10 seconds
>"I'm going to put this down before I break it..."
He said it like the thing as made of glass. e lives next door and comes over all the time just to see if I have anything new. He doesn't really actively collect toys, but he has a very impressive techdeck and WWE display going on himself. He' actually one of the only family members, older or younger, who doesn't think my collection is dumb or weird.

well, hopefully you fine people of /toy/ can help me, this seemed like the best place to ask, if not I will go to another board, maybe /tg/ or /co/?
I'm looking into becoming a long-term collector, then seller, of mint condition items, including toys/games/vidya. Things that will usually come in clam-shell and fragile cardboard boxes.
How can I store these items to
1. maintain box integrity
2. be price and space efficient considering the storage system elected
I do currently have a storage room of all my books, various media, and board games. I live in a fairly dry climate (no humidity!!) Before my collection would be able to be sold I would probably move/have kids or dogs/whatever , which will (unfortunately) raise the likelihood of the items being damaged by moving accidents/destructive creatures
I need a way to keep these items mint, safe from being crushed, have enough space to not stack one collectible on another if possible, preferably be able to store multiple items, be away from prying eyes and hands, etc.
How can I do this? Do I buy storage bins big enough for each item, then stack the bins? multiple items in a bin? Buy a new shelf? I started today with my first purchase (3DS and game special edition gold Zelda Link Between Worlds), and I want to keep doing this, for fun, and for money. I already collect things, but I'm a bit more "rough" with my items and storage of them than is acceptable to really get a good resell value
Thank you for any help.
