I came up with the idea of the MoSS being possessed by Makuta's spirit after the LoSS loses it, and he then makes himself a temporary body and it's through him that the Skull Squad is summoned.

I like the idea of Ekimu going 1v1 against his brother in a fight for the MoCr while Tahu battles Grinder and the others battle hundreds of zombies at the Temple's doorstep.

Usually take them apart after a while, sometimes take pics if they have clever enough designs.
I suck at legs more than anything, but feet are a close second. Never liked the convoluted feet used in official Titan sets so I usually stick with standard foot molds.
Weak connections bordering on illegal (ex: two 2x4 bricks held together by one stud), generic mech-looking shit, Rahkshi heads, TIRES, excessive use of system bricks, fabric, rubber bands, pretty much everything BZP loves.

torsos. I feel like shit when I use one of the standard CCBS frames, but I'm creatively stupid like that. easiest is the weapons. I just love going overboard, even if the results look like ass.

and...thing I hate...umm...when a MoC gets too big because they try too hard to be detailed and it all sorta just blends in like a Bayformer.

See BioFormers by DrScorpionX for my favorite MoCs. who knew the simple art of combiner models could lead to such interesting MoCs!

Well, Star Wars did more or less revolutionize lego into making a lot of licensed themes as a risky venture, along being the longest running theme. Stuff like rock raiders and the system sets from 1999 really are what lego is all about, kids these days really don't seem to value something unless it says Batman on the box

Some think they're the best ever, others think they're shit. The latter people are mostly narrow-minded nostalgiafags though. So, ignoring them, the consensus is that they're breddy good sets.

Personally, I'm mostly okay with them. All Toa series have had their ups and downs for me and these are no different, but I like how their engineering allows for both articulation and functions, and how they're both covered in armor but have visible mechanisms. I have a soft spot for the robotic, weedy-limbed 2001 designs, but these are fine too.

The masks are hit and miss.

That's not going to happen because Lego doesn't make as much money selling Star Wars sets than its own original IPs. A portion of every SW set sold goes to Lucasfilm.

Lego makes more money off of Bionicle because they don't have to pay licensing fees.

The Toa will definitely get a power-up, because Lego needs to sell more toys. But I don't think they'll be called Toa Nuva.
Maybe something like "The Element Lords"? Tahu Lord of Fire has a nice ring to it.

A few of my friends theorized that the half-gold half-trans masks aren't being drained of their power, but are actually becoming more powerful.

If this is true, then the Toa's masks might become fully transparent to represent the raw elements.

So the opaque color masks are the least powerful, gold ones are in the middle, and transparent ones are the most powerful.

One of the things that made it hard to get into the original Bionicle storyline was the frequent changing of the main cast.
It was hard to care about a character if they didn't stick around for very long.

I liked that Hero Factory kept mostly the same characters throughout its entire run.

Also, we have no other characters that could transform into Toa, so they'd come in out of nowhere.
