NYC, travelling alone

Hey there /trv/, first time posting here.
I want to visit NYC, perhaps in December, after a big exam I have, and because it's a big passion/dream to visit NYC. I've already been there 3 days (arrived on 1st, left on 3rd, so mostly 2 days of walking/visiting), but I saw only the "big things".
The 'problem' here is, I want to visit it alone. Is NYC a "solo tourist"-friendly kind of city, or is it best to visit with friends? What stuff can I do by myself there? Is December a bad time to visit alone? Thanks.

Going to Niagara/Toronto for a few days next week. It'll be my first time in Canada. Any suggestions on what to see in both places, but more so Toronto?
I was looking at the Toronto CityPass, which gets you into the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Casa Loma, Zoo and Science Center for like $50. Seems like a pretty good deal. Any thoughts? Also how's getting around the city? Is the Metro good?

How do you do it, /trv/?
I just got back from a 2 month trip, great experience, and I was at my most productive, working and going places, doing things everyday.
Waking up at 7 and 6am literally every morning fresh and ready to go (I am never like this)
I just got home and I can't get out of bed before 12pm, this always happens.
I'm depressed because I want to go back and I can't do anything and I fucking browse 4chan but I can't leave due to obligations.
How the FUCK do you do it?

I have 7 days free this coming December, and would like to travel to Europe. I may be traveling alone, or I might be going with a friend. Anyways, I've heard Prague is a pretty good place to go, but I don't know much about it. The only things I've heard is that there is some cool castles, a KGB museum, QTs, and food. But what does Prague offer that I couldn't find in Germany or Holland?
The 3 options on the table is Amsterdam, Berlin, or Prague. Trying to do some research on each. And figured /trv/ would be able to help.
the big step

hello, I am planning to travel across Canada via horseback some time soon. I have had lots of experience trail riding horses, but that is not the issue. the problem is that I don't have a any experience traveling outside of an airplane. I also live in a town where almost no one travels by foot, and the only person I know who has that kind of experience on horseback is a guy named "outlaw" and he is harder to find than a needle in a haystack.
if some people can leave some tips, that would be great, and 4chan, if I am in the wrong thread, don't ban me please, just tell me, it has been a while since I have been on here and I am a bit rusty on the terms, thanks.
