Sounds crazy, but I booked a tour in a few months in North Korea. Is there anything to beware in the DPRK? Is there anything really fun to do? Thanks in Advance!

I'm going backpacking around New Zealand's North Island soon, just a week long trip at first, living in hostels. I'm a complete noob though so I'm not sure what to bring with me. What would /trv/ pack?

I'm going to fly from south america to Arkansas to visit my girlfriend on the second half of december and first days of january. Since I'm traveling such a long distance I would like to make a trip with her, I'm kind of in a budget (since plane tickets are so fucking expensive from here to there). It's going to be a road trip and I'll have to rent a car for 20 days or so. I thought of going to the grand canyon since I've always wanted to go there but I dont know if its a good time in the year to go there (is it?). I also need recomendations on where to rent a car (as cheap as posible). Also any other destination that you find better to go to would be great to have in mind. Tips or thoughts about it?

I am visiting New Orleans in two weeks and I need help deciding on which hotel I want to stay at. I hate the traditional "re-modeled victorian house" style of hotels that plagues the area so I have settled on two candidates: Hyatt Regency or InterContinental. The Hyatt is a lot nicer and has the sleek and contemporary look I want in a hotel. However, it seems like it's a little bit further away from the action than the InterContinental. I plan to drink a lot so I'll need access to a mart/liquor store or something. The InterContinental seems to be more of a hot spot but the rooms look shittier. Any thoughts?

Hello guys! I've been very stuck in my life this whole year, and i only had one trip to the USA before -3months- and i liked it, i learned english and also like the traveling experience and staying there and being kind of immerse So i'm planning on doing another trip and staying a bit longer like a year, I come from a spanish speaking place and of course i know the language and also i know a very little little of French, I'm looking for some 'exchange' on some 'teen camps' kind of 'scout thing' and that becouse i think is funny and cannot think of anything else here also the new working holiday visa to france has been enabled (well , it's is acctualy in its way) but it will be. and it enables me to work there for a year. i was thinking on going for tourism or maybe something with kids as well Well the thing is i'm very indecisive about this and don't have more ideas -what can a person do with english and spanish and bit of french on those places? -do you know some exchange 'scout' or camps programs that i can apply?? since i haven't found much and i believe somebody from there can have the info -Ouh i also starting to like spirituality and heard that Sedona, Arizona was a good place for that. i've been immerse in technology all y life and i'm sick of it, i need more nature and humans Thnx guys please help me, it may seem a bit dumb my post but if you really help me with good intentions i'll appreciate it, because i really feel i need help with this and more encouragement Have you all a wonderful day ;) <3

Does get Pakistan ever get discussed here? I'm seriously thinking about emigrating there. Want advice from people who have lived or do live there. I'm a non-resident foreign-born Paki and I have family out there but I would still rather here from others who are living there. Also I speak Urdu.

Tell me which one is better: Megabus or Greyhound. Greyhoudn gets REALLY bad reviews but goes everywhere. http://www.yelp.com/biz/greyhound-bus-lines-atlanta-6 Megabus is safe, but doesnt go from ATL to LA like I want to. http://us.megabus.com/routemap.aspx

How much does long term travelling cost? I'm planning a 2.5 month long trip from May to July in 2016. I want to visit France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. I am especially interested in linguistics and seeing historical sites, such as old castles, and I've heard that Sintra and western France have great sites for the latter. I haven't traveled outside the U.S. or for more than a few weeks at a time, and even then I had all my supplies (food, shelter, etc.) before I left, so currently I am unsure of the monthly expenses I will incur on another continent. I suppose I will travelling for over 4000 km, if a distance is needed.

Iraqi Kurdistan

Would you say it's insane to go to Iraqi Kurdistan? It used to be a safe destination until ISIS came up, or so I've heard. I would enter from Iran.
