Where should I live in France?

I want to teach English/find work in a bar or something in France. Which cities should I consider moving to? I'm currently in Paris, but I'm seriously thinking about moving elsewhere for a variety of reasons. One of which is that there's already too much English being spoken here. Things that are important to me: literature, cinema, walking/hiking, good food, mountainous/hilly geography, maybe close to the sea? Someplace cheaper would be better too. I'm an educated white EU citizen, in case that matters.

Cabo San Lucas?

I live in dreary, cold New hampshire and want Sunshine.. I checked out cabo and there are tons of options. I think I could live with a cheaper in town hotel IF there are beaches or open coastline where I can go and hang out that aren't private property owned by resorts.. Anybody familiar enough to say if this is easily found? I just want to flop out on a sunny beach till I've had my fill, do some swimming maybe snorkel and come back to the misery a little refreshed. This place has adequate reviews and cheapish rates. With RT airfare I could do a week for around $1,500 all in

Travel advice please! Just arrived at Mendoza, Argentina. I have a flight leaving from Lima, Peru on Saturday the 16th at 11pm. Not sure how to divide time between Mendoza at Cusco (haven't booked flights yet to Cusco and to Lima). With LAN Airlines, I'm getting good prices from Mendoza->Lima only on Saturday the 9th (leaving 2.5 days in Mendoza, 5.5 days in Cusco) and Wednesday the 13th (leaving 6.5 days in Mendoza, 1.5 days in Cusco). I also checked flights leaving from Santiago too. Any ideas? I'm interested in hiking, but also the culture that mendoza has (art, most of all), as well as the Incan history in Cusco. Not too interested in wine, though. Is Cusco trekking more interesting than Mendoza hiking (Parque Provincial Aconcagua)?

Taking my wife and two young children to Quebec City in late February. What do I have to do and see while I'm there (besides freeze my ass off)? Any great food that isn't hideously expensive?

Can someone explain to me why it's morally wrong and illegal for someone to go to another country, have sex with a girl that is considered legal age in that country, but still get arrested and royally fucked in their own country because she was less than the legal age there. I have no interest in sex tourism or anything, just wanted to understand the thought process. Also just wanted to say that I would never have sex with a girl under 18 !

Boat, plane, helicopter hitch

Anyone here hitched something else than a car? I've hear stories of people who were able to hitch a boat or a plane. And wondered if anyone here has some interesting stories to share. This is one I've heard a year ago. >Guy wanna climb a giant vertical granite wall > Wall was in a desolate area near the coast in Alaska > He had to get to an island first > drove his car as far as he could >He found fishing boat who went in the direction of the island . >Got a job onboard >Went fishing with them for a week straight > Finally dropped him of at the island > He met some people there, hitched a boat and went to the wall with some other climbers he met at the island.

ESL TEACHING THREAD I teach English at an Elementary School in South Korea. 23/m/Aus. I mainly did it to live abroad instead of paying $1500 everytime I wanted to leave Australia for a holiday. Stats. Live in Seoul. 20 mins from downtown in a nice little middle class suburb. My apartment and return flight are free. I get $2200 a month AUD (which is $1600 USD or 1,100 GBP) Minus 250 of that for health insurance, pension, and daily cafeteria meals. I get pension back when i quit (90 a month for as long as i stay). I live in a small 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen apartment that is tiny. On the plus side, Korea has heated floors, and my monthly bills (internet, cable TV, electricity, gas/water, maintenance) total to $70. I can travel to any part of Korea with subway, Bus or speedrail within 4 hours. The women are the most beautiful in the world. The service is amazing. E.g Fold Delivery, like fried chicken, can be sent to my house at 4am on a monday, or at my work place desk (literally to my computer, in my office, on the third floor, in room 301), or to the middle of the grass in the park where i'm having a date by the river. Subway is fast, clean and cheap. I have a mountain behind my school, one of the biggest in Korea. I can hike up there and breath clean air. My elementary students are cute, smart and disciplined. I let them fall asleep in class because they study so hard at after school classes until 9pm sometimes. They never disrespect me. I can try answers any question regarding working abroad in ESL, especially in Korea. Let me help you live in Korea

Dating/ Sex Stories Overseas Thread: Japan Edition

What's up /trv/, I am planning a trip to Japan at some point in the future. During this trip, my hope is to bang several so-called "KHawaii" Japanese girls with the intent of knocking them up with my superior American seed. Really plow that Pearl Harbour Poon-Tang, if you catch my drift. So, I want to hear your best sex/ dating stories from while you were overseas. It doesn't have to be about an explicit encounter if you don't want. Stories taking place in Japan are the theme of this thread, but you can stories from anywhere. Pic unrelated; is a beloved Japanese mascot character.

What are some good places to shoot some guns? At first i was thinking 'murica cause you guys apparently shoot each other all day. But when i look up places like http://www.battlefieldvegas.com/ that shit is all expensive as fuck. As long as its reasonably safe and i can just shoot some shit without any license etc. im fine. Any good reviews? Doesnt really matter where in the world.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I'm going to ask anyways. I'm hopefully moving to the UK in about half a year from now, but I'm kind of lost in the process. How can I rent a flat from abroad without having job there? Or to reverse the situation, how can I get a job without a proper UK address to prove I can pay the monthly rent? Of course I do have savings, but I can't pay 6 months' rent in advance just to gain the landlord's trust. I'd be grateful for any kind of advice.
