NZ South island

Heading to New Zealand next winter for a few days in the snow then road tripping around the south island, 2 weeks total. Flying in to Christchurch. Where would you recommend for skiing/boarding? I'm around low intermediate level and I'll be with mostly beginners (but will be fucking them off after the first day for more of a challenge) And any other recommendations of must see things would be appreciated!

How do I travel the US (or the world) if I'm not white? For reference I'm a hispanic male. Obviously avoid the south.

Credit Cards, let's talk about 'em. What do you guys use if any? I just got a statefarm one because they're my bank and car insurance. Pretty great insurance and all, but I feel like I could be racking up miles. Any recommendations? I have 700+ credit rating and good credit history for a 25 year old.

The Ultimate US Road Trip

0 more posts in this thread. [Missing image file: ]
Hey /trv/! I'm a 19 year old from the UK and I'm planning a massive road trip with my buddy that will go across most of the US and I'd like some help. Money shouldn't be an issue for me, I've got more than enough time to save up and at the rate I'm currently saving it's looking like the total budget will be around £15,000. Anyway this is the map I've planned so far. So I'm starting from Boston, MA, from there I'm going to rent an RV from Cruise America, they've got a depot near the New Hampshire border. Once I've got the RV we will be heading down south ect ect, you can see the map. So the blue lines represent the route I know that I'll definitely be going along so far (though this is still of course flexible). The red lines are very rough routes that have yet to be fleshed out, and the black line is the "I haven't got a fucking clue" route. This black bit is the part I need some help with. I know the midwest is probably the most boring part of America but I gotta get back to Massachusetts somehow. Could anyone suggest some interesting things for me to do here so that I can figure out a route? I like anything outdoorsy things, anything spooky, historical places, nice cities, national and state parks, nice scenery ect ect. Just anything really interesting. Oh I should also mention the timing. I'm thinking of going for four months in 2018, (is four months enough time to do all this? or even too much time?), July, August, September and October. The plan is to start in early July and get back to Massachusetts in time for Halloween as I've always wanted to spend a Halloween in Massachusetts. Also feel free to suggest anything interesting along the blue or red lines that I may not already have on the map. And talk to me about things I'll need to be prepared for that I may not have considered.

I need suggestions

I need suggestions. I am trying to figure out where I can travel for 2 weeks in January. I am an American that speaks English and some Spanish, living in Germany. I want to go somewhere that isn't the cliche type of tourist destination like london, Paris or Las vegas. I've been to czech, poland, sweden, switzerland, ireland, guam, japan, thailand, and south Korea (not looking to do a repeat). I want to go somewhere that will have a cheap ass living cost, where I can drink, possibly mingle with locals, and potentially bang local girls. I'm trying to stay around Europe, Asia, and Australia but it isn't 100% necesary...just not trying to spend over $800 on just a flight

Is TEFL pretty much god's gift to new college graduates that want to graduate? Get to go see a new country, work a piss easy job, save some money, backpack around for a year, and then rinse and repeat? I mean, I'm seriously considering it.

Planning a trip to the British Isles the first week of January. I was thinking Dublin, then Liverpool, then London, but I'd appreciate your recommendations. What should a guy with five or six days to spare over there do?

First trip to Southern China

Hello, /trv/, I've recently decided to go visit (for the first time) Southern provinces of China. I already decided that I want to spend a week in Lijiang (pic related) but I am left with 2 more free weeks. Any ideas or suggestion on where should I go from there? Mind you, I don't speak Chinese and I've never been to China before. It's just something that I want to do. Is it a good or bad idea? And I do hope not to rely on airplanes a lot because I'm trying to go there on a minimum budget. Thank you!

LA for one day - worth it?

I have the option of doing a stopover in Los Angeles next week (land on Thursday afternoon, leave on Saturday afternoon), but I am not sure if so little time is actually worth it. But then on the other hand, I'd like to complete San Andreas, and Los Santos is the only city I'm still missing. What I am especially worried, is getting around, since that city is fuckin huge, but seemingly has the public transport infrastructure of a small european village. also, I am not too sure about what I'd even do there, apart from wandering around to see a bit of hollywood and downtown. From what I have seen on wikivoyage, I'm interested in The walk of fame and rodeo drive (because, why not?), Getty Center, MOCA, California Science Center and Venice beach. How much of that would be possible in a day?

Flight Questions

Hey /b/ I desperately need a flight from the Sacramento Area to Nepal, but I don't have very much money to spend. Does anyone know a cheap way to fly there? I don't care if it's one way, or comfortable, or even if it's legal or not. Also since I'm desperate for suggestions, Kik me werewolfe7oh7 if you have any ideas you won't post here. Please help me out /b/

Zurich in winter

0 more posts in this thread. [Missing image file: ]
Hello anons, I've googled around for a bit but honestly the results are filled with rather normie ideas for activities (going to the spa?!). I'm wondering if it's worth going to Zurich at the end on January, for 4-5 days. At least one of them will be taken up with this event I'd go to (lots of walking through the city). But for the other 3-4 days, would there be much to do/see? I love walking a lot in new cities and just seeing stuff. I can also appreciate a couple of museums (hopefully open in the weekend), but I'm unlikely to go to stuff like the theater or the movies while traveling. I'll be going by myself Thoughts/suggestions? Also: is there usually snow at the end of January over there? I love me some snow and that kind of dry cold with little wind, and where I live now there's barely ever any snow
