Should I travel solo right after a breakup? Have you guys done it and if so, how did it go? I was planning on doing a 2-3 week trip starting in a week or so on a motorcycle to a relatively remote part of the world where I didn't have a good grasp of the language. It's a place where it would be difficult to meet other travelers and I'd spend a lot of time alone. It might be therapeutic but I'm afraid I should be spending the time with friends and family instead of on my own. I could always do this trip later as there's no plane ticket involved, just a borrowed motorcycle. I'll get over the relationship eventually but I don't know how long it will take. Is it too early to venture somewhere lonely, but also adventurous? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Hey travel, long story short; I live in Japan, it fucking blows. PPAP is what passes for quality entertainment, the national passtime is jumping infront of trains and recreational drug use is tightly controlled. Coincidence? suck my dick. Anyway, I need somewhere I can pack up and go for a long weekend to smoke some ganja whenever the feeling takes me. Somewhere close, cheap and safe. Before I free some drones from their shells... Suggestions please.

Why do I get sick/unwell when I travel? Not even from going abroad or eating foreign foods or something like that, twice now when I've traveled far to large cities within my home country I've gotten unwell upon or during arrival for unknown reasons. I lose my appetite, get an upset stomach, get very tired and mopey, and sensitive to the air/smells in places like restaurants (or buildings in general) to a point of getting nauseated. I haven't gotten physically sick in years and I even got a sore throat this time. My "symptoms" almost disappear (except the sore throat) when I get to rest in the hotel room, but return in 10 minutes when I leave. On the 8 hour car journey home I practically got better and better the closer I got to home. Is this some sort of travel related anxiety? I'm not a traveled guy so I don't have much experience. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I just don't get it.

Is the US the most corrupt country? It's the only place I ever have lived but I feel as if something has always been very off, are there other places that are better to live and not so corrupt/controlling/mass media mind controlled?

Couldn't find anything on this I'm thinking about accepting an internship in Dubai for a few months. Does anyone here have an info about Dubai or anything to do there? I just recently came back from a 6 month stay in Singapore and I imagine that Dubai is much much more shallow than Singapore (hard to even believe) and that there is almost nothing to do there besides go out to clubs and meet rich people Anyone living in or who has lived in Dubai that can give me some type of low down it would be appreciated

It depends on your itinerary. >http://www.hyperdia.com/en/ Plug your itinerary into Hyperdia to determine ticket costs, then compare to the below JR Pass options: >7 day Pass: 29,110¥ >14 day Pass: 46,390¥ >21 day Pass: 59,350¥ Please check the /trv/ sticky before asking questions. Recently I've become very interested in visiting Israel + the West Bank, but I'm in need of some guidance: >Is a week enough time for a rough itinerary of Tel Aviv -> Jerusalem -> Jericho -> Dead Sea and back? >Any particular museums, cultural and nature hotspots you would recommend in those areas or nearby? >What was your experience of the climate in April? >What was your experience of entering/exiting Ben Gurion, and crossing between Israel/the West Bank? (FYI: I am a White British male with slightly dark features. No previous MENA trips, but will likely be travelling alone unless I can persuade a friend to come with me.)
