Anyone here done any WWOOFing? I've heard of a friend that's doing it right now and it sounds pretty fucking interesting. I'm not scared of manual labour but I don't know much about the organization or type of work. Any experiances you guys are willing to share?

Can you make a career out of teaching abroad? I'm native English but do not have a degree. From what I understand, SE Asia, South America and Eastern Europe all have opportunities if you do a TEFL course? I have no prospects back home and if I'm going to become a minimum wage slave I figured I might as well go and live abroad and have an experience. Is it possible to progress at all and increase your earnings or are you basically stuck in low paid foreign teaching positions for life? Also, I'd rather teach adults or do private tuition. Do you have to start with schoolkids and work your way up?

I'm looking to do a trip over the summer going from Suriname into the Central American peninsula and ending in the northwest of Mexico. I would preferably spend a good chunk of time in Columbia and Venezuela. Has anyone recently visited these countries and how was the experience overall? I'm aware of the safety concerns in general but am looking to check out hands on experiences.

Denmarkian here, I have 5 vacation days I need to spend before May. Now here's the thing, because of reasons I have a very sparse Budget. (250-350 EUR) I have a couple of different ideas in mind, but I would love any input: -Camping and Hiking in Sweden/Norway Pros >Got all the /out/ gear I need >Sleeping is free Cons >Cold -Visit the Baltic Capitals Pros >Plenty of things to do during the day >two way flight trip is 20 EUR >Cute grills and nightclubs Cons >Might not make it on 250 EUR -Visit Poland or Slovenia Pros >Cheaper than Baltics >more couchsuring hits than Baltics Cons >Don't have a car >Don't Speak Slav Thoughts?
