>want to travel there in 2018, already planning >supposedly they have a new Visa program >can stay up to 5 days according to one website Is this true? It says this is the case after February of this year for US citizens but I wonder if it will still be like this April 2018

Somebody stiffed me at a store earlier by giving me a 200 Ugandan shilling coin instead of a 10p. Got me thinking, I'd never get to spend this coin, because Uganda is an unsafe shit-hole. But is it really? What countries have a bad rep for being dangerous, but aren't really too bad?

I'm going to Boston this week and I'm going to hit some of the main sites but I'm also looking for more specific stuff. I'm looking for some places that aren't too popular since I can look those up anywhere on the internet. I want to find some good places to eat, see some local music, or explore. Anything you have is helpful

Hey guys, What are some cool things to do in New Zealand? I'm planning on going to New Zealand when I have saved enough money. I don't know how long to go for, a rough price guide, and where to go. I enjoy things like hiking, museums, great views, beaches, great food, historical and cultural things, and shopping. I have heard about Aurora Australis? If any of you have seen it or know anything about when/ where would be best to see it?

Weed trimming, usa

I'm thinking about going in october to do some weed trimming in the united states. A friend of mine got a contact somewhere in the 2016, but im not sure how the new regulations are, and i believe is important to have references from someone that went to trim there, gonna get my tourist visa in about 5 months, so i suppose is mildly illegal because of the tourist thing, legally enough to have the owner letting me work there. What do i need to know before going? Are the police usually doing raids in the camps? If is not possible now to do this in the usa, is there somewhere else can i go? Mexican btw

South East Asia Thread. Couldn't believe that there isn't one, as until now I always saw one but didn't post. So let's start a new one. The entry topic will be >I'm currently in Chiang Mai and would like to go trekking tomorrow or the day after I have some experience, so I'd like to do it on my own, preferably for multiple days. I have all the equipment needed, but need a way to get there. So some relevant questions would be: 1. Which part of the surrounding regions is the most beautiful for trekking? I heard 2. Is the region well marked/signposted? 3. Are there guesthouses on the way for solo hikers? 4. How do I get there cheaply? Are there operators that just drop you off and pick you up in the end? If so, will I be able to leave my stuff with them? Some useful replies would be great, but feel free to contribute your own questions.

Are any big cities worth visiting in the UK apart from London? Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Sheffield all seem supremely uninteresting. Edinburgh was cool, but Oxford (pop. under 200k) is the biggest city I've found interesting in England, apart from London.

Sorry for another camino thread

Hey guys, Did any of you use a guidebook when walking El Camino? If so, would you recommend it? General pro-tips are also recommended - I start walking on April 17th and I'm pretty pumped. Doing Camino Frances + probably finisterre & maybe to portugal if I have any gas left in me. Walking it in Vibrams and not listening to music, so it should be a bit of a challenge. TIA
