Hello! I'm managing a project where graduate and postgraduate students of IT are educated for internship abroad. To promote this, I need posters, and to make posters, I need Hi-res images. Can anyone tell me where can I find good quality images (I mean really good, like 7000x4000 +) of Germany, Finland, Brazil, India and Greece (since the internship will mostly be in those countries). I would be really grateful if you help me with this.

Not Yet Another Amsterdam Thread

So, I want to visit a coffeeshop, but frankly I don't like crowds and tourist-locations tend to creep me the fuck out. Coffeeshops exist all over the Netherlands, not only in Amsterdam, yet it seems all the tourists go to that one town anyway. Granted tourists aren't welcome in coffeeshops down south and certain other places, but in most municipalities it's fine, I've heard. So, anyone here who knows a nice coffeeshop that's NOT in amsterdam? A nice place to visit, not too hard to travel to, and preferably some nice local culture to check out as well.

I'm from London and I'm going to Paris again for a family visit (I'm north African and have relatives there) What can I do there that doesn't involve visiting monuments/buildings/whatnot and eating food? I want to try to enjoy myself I usually stay in and don't socialise in general when I'm at home I'm just an awkward 20 year old stay-at-home-on-the-computer NEET. Going out late at night isn't an option as I'll be staying at a family member's house and I can't come back that late.

Sup /trv/, I'll be in Qingdao (Tsingtao) and its region for almost two weeks this August with my girlfriend. I'll obviously be sampling the local brewery, enjoy the beer festival that's happening in August and spend some time at the beaches. We're also looking at traveling to Mount Tai. I was hoping you guys could recommend me some other things you enjoyed in the region (things that I might not consider or that aren't mentioned in most guidebooks etc.).

We should have like 2 or 3 days free, and I know basically nothing about Kiev Thanks!

Yello /trv/ 20 year old British student living in the Netherlands here. I'm going to new york this August to meet some family. I'm there for two weeks, first with family, second meeting up with some people I met on exchange here when I was 17. But you haven't really experienced somewhere till you've got shitfaced on a night out and I can't do that under 21. None of them have ID, I know they can get alcohol but not into any decent bars. I'm going to get two fake british drivers license (£20 of the internet, quite realistic). Does anyone think this will work, if so how do I meet people to get drunk with alone? And if this fails what the fuck do I do if I can't go out (at night)

So, I'm planning to do student Exchange from Australia to the UK and I've narrowed down to either London or Scotland, in Glasgow. I'm kinda conflicted. I already live in a big city so I don't know that London would be really so amazing, and I hear it's also expensive. On the other hand I don't know if Scotland will just be too boring or too cold, and I don't really know what Glasgow is like, but I'd like to go there for ancestral reasons. So study in London and visit Scotland, or study in Scotland and visit London? halp?

Hey /trv/, Tell me everything you know about Italy. I'm interested in this country, more about the fashion aspect than the whole historical background (I'm more interested in the Italy of Pasolini and Fellini rather than the italy of the Old Roman times) So, how's life around there? My interest are Cinema and Fashion (Menswear Fashion. Luciano Barbera, Bespoke Suits, Tailors) In fact, I'm going to work in one of those in the future, so how are things over there respect job about film and fashion? Thanks in advance

Hey /trv/ I'm currently living in Japan for the next 2 years. What do I do here? I have a job, a car and live an hour away from Tokyo. I don't speak any Japanese and I hear they don't really like Americans so that has sort of deterred me from going out.

Frenchman Moving to Houston

Hello, I recently graduated from UPMC in Paris and hired by ExxonMobil. I got a confirmation that I am moving down to Houston in September to start my job. I have several questions that I need advice for. 1. What's life like in Houston? I've heard it's like Los Angeles with a suburb atmosphere with lots of freeways. 2. What's the weather like? 3. What neighborhoods should I consider living in? I'll be making $52,000 a year for this job. 4. I am a closeted homosexual. I had to expunge several things from my resume that might have called into question my sexuality to get this job. I love America and know that the current economic conditions in France forced me to look abroad. I've heard recently that ExxonMobil in the United States does not like hiring homosexuals. What should I do to hide my homosexuality from others at ExxonMobil? 5. Does Texas and more importantly Houston like gays? What's the gay scene like?

Hey /trv/, I'm going on a trip to Indonesia and Thailand. I plan on renting motorbikes and traveling through the country. I live in the US but am moving to Europe. I was wondering if there was a reasonably priced GPS that I could easily bring with me that has or can have maps from these regions. Any recommendations on models?

I'm flying to New York from San Antonio Texas in a few weeks. I want to know what would be the absolute cheapest way to get there. I'd be willing to drive to Austin or Houston if it would be cheaper, and it would be a possibility to land in Boston or anywhere where it's cheapest in New York. Any advice for finding the cheapest dates and shit? Pic unrelated

Where should I go for the summer? I need to escape -- get away. I've got a few thousand dollars and low standards. I was thinking about going to Costa Rica (during the rainy season, fewer people like me.) Anywhere where it's cheap. I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and German. I live in Oregon. So /tv/, where should I go?

Hey /trv/, I don't come on here much but could anyone give me their thoughts on the car rental company Enterprise? I am taking a three week trip and have been looking for prices, theirs seems reasonable but wanted to see what some unpaid reviewers had to say. Thanks guys!
