Hi Board! I'm going to northern Italy near Lago Di Como in a month and I've looked up a guide on Lonely Planet that's two weeks there. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on good places to go there or interesting things to see! I'm really excited to be going finally after planning for so long, so please give me any advice you have!

Been living in LA county for the five years Hate the area, hate the city, hate all the people. Before that I lived in Riverside county, got my first taste of desert area there. Was there for 13 years. Loved the arid heat, weeds and dirt. The privacy was amazing. For reasons, I cannot return around there. So for the last 4 years I have been contemplating Arizona. Always admired Arizona. I love the heat, dryness and desert. A To skip to the point, what part of Arizona would you guys recommend? What's the area like and people like. Just anything you guys can tell me about it, cons, pros. Any of your experiences living there or vacations would be a great to get an idea of it. If it helps I would like to avoid southern Arizona. pic unrelated Thanks guys

At least seven bicyclists have been injured in an accident that happened Tuesday evening. Bill Sadler with Arkansas State Police said a group of 13 cyclists got into an accident around 4:35 at the intersection of Highway 37 and Highway 17, north of McCrory in Woodruff County; the cyclists were traveling northbound when a car, traveling the same direction, struck seven of them from behind. Sadler said three cyclists were airlifted from the scene; patients were taken to Memphis and Little Rock. Four others were taken to a hospital via ambulance, but the car driver was not injured. http://www.thv11.com/news/article/270426/2/Multiple-cyclists-injured-in-Woodruff-County-wreck

I bet you get this often /trv/. But where is the best place on the planet to find a high population of women that are healthy & free from disease. That are also sex deprived & the mere site of a mediocre looking guy would drive them crazy. Unleashing there sexual frustration on such a man visiting this area to the point of almost raping the poor bloke. . . Any ideas???

/trv/, my friend's girl friend just bought me a ticket to live with them for 10 days in new york to surprise him on his birthday. They live in new york city. I have never been to new york or the east coast in general, ive been mainly raised in cali. What should I bring? What should I do there? The only idea I have is taking a trip south to princeton so I can read salinger's ocean full of bowling balls.

Hi /trv/, I'm on the verge of traveling America with a girl in mid August, but have been a bit preoccupied recently and haven't been able to organize flights. I was thinking of doing New york, Philadelphia, DC, Toronto and Boston, but it seems pretty expensive with the access to maybe better place available. Being from the UK, wanting to end the trip with a bit of sun, heading South sounded appealing although I'm unsure what the weather is like around August, and both us of being 21, not renting a car makes it seem more unaccessible. Can anyone give some advice to traveling around the East coast and possibly recommend some must see cities or routes. Thanks.

Hello /trv/, I will be backpacking in Australia from octobre until july along with a friend of mine. We are both 18 years old and Dutch. My main concern right now is wether we will be able to get a job over there. So if anyone has any general information on the job market for backpackers or some tips we could use i would really appreciate it if you could post them here.

So tell me /trv/. How do you feel about airship/zeppelin transportation. Do you think it would be good to bring back airships? Or do you want to travel in one, I've always wanted to. Share your thoughts. Also I'm not talking about blimps, Im talking about Zeppelins.

Hey travellers, I've recently really wanted to travel to Iceland (probably Reykjavik) and I'm wondering what it's like, realistically. I've read that it's far from as cheap as hosteling in other European cities like Prague (cost me £10/night) but I'm not sure. Is it worth it? Post-economic crash, is it affordable enough to venture on my very limited budget?

Hey travellers, I have been offered a placement nearby King's Cross in London and I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions regarding to housing. I checked roommates.co.uk and craigslist.co.uk, roommates seems like a legit website but craigslist creeps me out (looking for a fit roommate and shit like that). Also I want to avoid getting ripped off on my rent because I am oblivious how much rent per month average is in London or nearby cities. Some info: Money is not a big issue- I have been saving some money (2000 GBP), will earn 300 GBP per month from the placement, will have some financial help from the government (Dutch) and my father is willing to borrow me money. And I will stay for 5 months in London and afterwards graduate from my bachelors programme. Could you guys please give me some help here with potential websites I should use to find a place to live and give me an indication how much it's going to cost. If not London, what other cities would you suggest me to live in nearby London? Cheers guys, Anon

Im looking for travel related documentary series and films. It doesn't necessarily have to be about travel, but should inspire travel in some way. Any films or documentaries set in an interesting city or country are good too.
