2 Weeks in China on Budget

Going to China for two weeks.
How much money roughly is needed to get around and eat and live frugally? I don't plan to go to any fancy restaurants or go shopping. But I probably will use taxis a lot and the train a few times.
Also, as far as food goes, will I be able to eat a diet without grains or rice, or is it pretty much included in every meal? I eat mainly meat, fish, vegetables and fruit, so I want to try to mostly avoid rice and deep fried foods if I can.

This is going to be a strange question I know, but bear with me. It's for my European brothers/sisters.
I've been living in America since I was 5 but I want to go back to Europe. I also want to live a wild lifestyle over there. I want to be a part of the club scenes, the beaches, bars, nightlife. I would love to get involved in work that involves me just having a blast. (I know, doesn't everyone). The thing is though while living in the United States and in high school I managed to become very sociable, I got involved in the bar scenes and club scenes and sold "questionables" to patrons. I have no problem doing stuff like that again. So how could I possibly go about moving back to Europe? How can I find a job at some place like this? Where is the best country for it? Also anything related to living a lifestyle like this. Doesn't matter if it's photography or whatever. Just want to spend several years in my 20's having a blast.
