This is going to sound terrible, but I want to marry for convenience. I want to leave my country, but I don't make enough to get out and survive in another country just yet. Preferably, I'd like to marry someone from Denmark or Norway, ahaha. Oh Lord, this sounds so terribly pathetic, but I was denied entry for immigration to Canada due to my low wages. I work in a pharmacy as a tech, so of course my salary isn't the greatest. Does anyone know a way to meet people searching for the same thing as myself? I don't want to advertise as a mail order bride, it sounds weird and I don't think American's are in high demand either. I'm freshly 21, so at least there is youth on my side. But I want to leave this country and go to one that is not part of the EU, preferably Norway as I've said. If anyone knows of a way to meet someone like this, please let me know. Thank you very much in advance, if so.

Hey guys, I'm an 18 year old Brit who just got their A levels and is about to do a 4 year high level apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, which when I'm done will earn me a degree and I'll have a few years work experience, once I get this degree is it possible for me to move to the US? or maybe Canada? thanks

I'm coming back to the states after my year-long deployment. I was thinking about spending time with the family for a month then go to a unique vacation destination (preferably romantic). My fiance will be accompanying me. I was thinking maybe a cruise (never been on one) or something fairly simple and cost effective. Budget $2500 max :/ Any info or suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Rome citytrip

Hi fellow anons! Me and my sister will be going to Rome next monday, and I have almost everything planned out already, but I was wondering if you have any tips & tricks, for example what are nice & cheap restaurants, or cool/funny stores, or secret things to visit ( I know about the Bocca della Verita & the bone cathedral). And is there a large English bookstore in Rome as well? We will be staying in Trastevere (any cheap supermarkets around there?). Anything is appreciated :)

Hey /trv/, buddy and I are currently on a road trip stopped in Newport, Oregon for the night. Tomorrow we plan on doing a bar crawl type of night, and we're trying to decide between going to Seattle, WA, or staying in OR, and going to Portland. Which would be better, and what general area for each city would be the best for such an endeavor?

ok guys, im bored, ive got a bit of money, i want to travel and Japan seems like a pretty cool place. ive got around 1.5k in cad right now, how much to do you guys think it would cost to travel around pretty much the entirety of japan, catching as many cool places as i can in 2 or 3 weeks. also the cherry blossoms are really nice, so i might put off my trip for a while or a year until i have enough money and the scenery is in full bloom. anyone know of the must see cool places? i would be travelling with my father who would match my savings for himself, if that makes a difference

not exactly travel, but I will be studying in Germany this fall and I am just ok at German (not fluent by any means) but I definitely plan to improve there and the program has an immersive language class before any of your real classes start, so that should help. Anyways because of reasons like scheduling and just for requirements one of the classes that would work the best for me is in German (others are in English), I know it would improve my German which is also a plus, but im afraid that I wont pass it because im not fluent. I think no matter what we have to meet with tutors anyway so someone told me they can explain things to me. Would it be a bad decision to take this class? tl;dr do I take a class completely in German even though i'm not fluent? (its a business class)

hey /trv/ Canuckfag here gonna fly to the US for the first time tomorrow (SeaTac). My question is what are the CBP officers like? I've gotten the idea that they are really direct and have a penchant for being assholes, but these are just things I've heard. tl;dr what to expect at US customs

does anybody have any tips or tricks to purchasing airlines tickets for cheap? I'm trying to get to great exuma island for a week, round trip. I can't find any flights below $600 which is pretty outrageous considering I've flown to Europe for less than that

Hey /trv/ I'll be hitchhiking from Germany to Amsterdam in about a week, I plan to stay there for a few days. Anyone have any experience as to what the cheapest hostel I can find would be? Comfort isn't as importent as price, but I would like it to be close to the RLD. Also any tips on getting with Dutch chicks? I'm British if that's weighs to anything, although I doubt it as there must be hundreds of Brits their at any given time. One more thing; Any good, quality, cheap coffee shops you guys would recommend?

Do any fellow Englandfags know of any little seaside villages kind of between Great Yarmouth and Hunstanston. I'm just looking for a smallish town/village with a basic sandy beach. It doesn't have to have all the fairs, arcades and candy floss stuff. In fact if it doesn't that would be good, because it would mean less people will be there. I've been working 7 days a week, 13 hour days, for the last three months. All I want to do it sit on a beach, eat a picnic with my S/O and chill out. The less kids and families that will be there the better. Annnddddd GO! Pic related: Sea Palling - some random village/small town found on Google Maps

Going to resort in Cancun - Mexico!

9 more posts in this thread. [Missing image file: Mexico.jpg]
Hello there! I have never traveled before, stayed in a hotel or anything like this and I know nothing of Mexican language and culture. I am being taken to a resort in Cancun, I am from Canada. Really as much information or handy tips y'all might have would be great, especially for those related to Cancun. One of my concerns is money. How to have an enjoyable time there. I am actually quite poor, some friends paid for my plane ticket and resort costs (which apparently include meals) but I have very little money for anything else. I was told to bring both American Dollars and Pesos. How much of either should I bring? I'm also looking to do or experience things tourists might not know about or think to do. I like to keep busy and don't really want to hang around the beaches all day.

Hi /trv/, I am going by car from Trelleborg on a 10 day trip to Sweden and Norway (above Arctic Circle). I am adding also a map with my driving route. There is a list of cities which I will drive through : 1)Driving in northern direction : Uppsala, Hudiksvall, Sundsvall, Ornskoldvik, Skelleftea, Narvik and Tromso 2)Returning : Gällivare, Ostersund, Mora, Karlstad, Vanersborg and Goteborg I want to visit almost every city listed above. I know some of them are very small. Can anybody tell me what to see and visit in them?
