Good evening /trv/, I'm planning on moving to New Hampshire. I have been there only once before, however I never left the city of Concord. The people I met were generally kind and the the weather was wonderful. I'm just wondering what the state is like the other 359 days a year. I'm an /out/, and /k/ guy so If you can give me some info on what there is to do there that would be much appreciated. Also can you tell me about any dry counties so I know where to avoid.

Planning to take a maybe cross country road trip with my son in 6-7 years. He is 9 years now. Im from Denmark, and the roadtrip will be in the US. Are there any agencies or travel offices that arrange something like that in the US ? And how much you think it would cost ?

Hey /trv/, I'm travelling in Europe right now, currently in Switzerland. I want to head to places like Konstanz and Innsbruck but hostels are starting to cost up to 30-40? which is much more than I wanted to be paying or whats in my budget. I'm terribly unresourceful how do I get to places like those or even smaller towns?

Hi! I'm spending NYE in Budapest together with 5 friends. We'll be there for a few nights and are looking for nice parties and good food, anyone that has any insider recommendations? Also, any NYE parties that are worth checking out? We have quite a varied music taste, so something that caters to different types of music is preferred. As I'm mainly into electronic, any good tips on proper electronic clubs/bars are also very much welcome. köszönöm!

Cross US Road-trip Help

Sup /trv/. My friends and I are planning a road-trip from Boston to Seattle this summer, but we're getting kind of discouraged at the logistics of such a journey. None of us are experienced with such things, and being a group of poor college kids doesn't help much either. I was wondering if the more experienced travelers here could give some protips and maybe give an estimate on the overall cost of such a journey. There will be 3-5 of us, depending on the final cost. We want to spend at least 4 days in Washington once we get there, and we'll be staying with a friend. Chicago will be a mandatory stop because I have a friend there as well.

What do you think of people travelling with go pros? I fucking hate them. Especially if they think they should walk through cities with their camera on a stick.

I'm bored and slowly being consumed with wanderlust. What do I need and what do I need to know if I were to buy a plane ticket to England and just spend a month walking around the country? I don't want to carry too big of a pack.

Not sure if there is interest, but ask someone who hosts on Airbnb, and has used it in place of youth hostels when travelling anything

Hey guys, I'm moving to Virginia, US soon. I have couple of questions that maybe some local people would like to answer: - If I find an apartment on rent.com does the price there include tax? Or renting an apartment is tax free? - Same goes with the car, I would like to lease a car. Does the price in "estimate payment" include tax? How much is the tax? - Is $1300 a good price for a 1bd apartment near Chantilly, VA? It's aroung 750 sq ft. Thanks in advance for the answers. If you have any tips for me don't hesitate.

What is some of your personal best feels when travelling? >be taking a direct flight to another country for the first time >that feel as you are leaving the plane and walking inside the terminal it finally hits you. >I just left X country and I am now in Y country >pure amazement My most memorable incident of this happening was a direct flight from Detroit to Shanghai.

Alright /trv/ Its almost Ski Season! And I am so excited to hit the slope! But this year I want to do something different, more fun and entertaining! I'm going to do a one week ski trip off piste. However, I've never done one before. So I would like to know what you suggest. A little about me: Been skiing since I was 8, switched to snowboard at 16, now 21. I can ski/board at a pretty high level. I don't do tricks, but I can easily handle Double blacks, trees, etc. I currently reside in Switzerland, grew up in Calgary, Canada. What tours/trips would you suggest? Which ones have you enjoyed?
