Hey /trv/, UK fag reportan.
I'm thinking about just walking the earth for a while, I think you guys call it vagabonding. I'm going to quit my job (agency stuff, no big deal), hop a ferry over to France, and then just put one foot in front of the other.
Any advice? I'm thinking of just getting a duster and hat like pic related and roughing it, seems easier then carrying a massive fucking rucksack around the place.
I'd also like to put together a checklist of the shit I should try to do, not ordinary stuff like 'see the sights', which I'll probably do anyway, but more adventurous stuff like 'save a village' just so it'd make for some awesome stories.

I'm English and am about to start my degree (Computer Systems Integration), once done with my degree I'd like to move to Canada (Probably get a working holiday visa and hopefully get sponsored once I get a job), basically my course will qualify me for jobs like programmer, software engineer, hardware engineer etc and on the third year of the course you do work experience for a year so I'll have that to put on my CV, I've done some researched and asked at the uni and apparently people in this field are quiet high in demand, the average student will have several job offers before they graduate, so since it seems to be a good course I was wondering if I could move to Canada afterwards, like I said I'd probably get a working holiday visa and hopefully get a job and an employer willing to sponsor me, is this a plausible idea?
Out of curiosity, would it be possible to move to the US if I wanted to?

I touched on this in the other Morocco thread but since I have so many questions I decided to make my own.
I'm an 18 year old Canadian who is going to Morocco this summer. I am fluent in Canadian French and i'm travelling with two other people, one Canadian born Moroccan who is fluent in both French and Moroccan Arabic and another Canadian who is also fluent in French. My Moroccan friend has lots of family in Morocco who we plan on visiting. So I have a number of questions:
1)How much money should I bring for 3 weeks? We want to live as cheaply as possible but a couple things we want to do is: ride camels, go stay at a Berber camp, stay one night in a Riyad, travel around the country via bus
2) Is travelling around the country safe/cheap?
3) What's the best way to get to Ouarzazate
4) Any must sees/dos/eat/drink while in country?
5) cheapest ticket from Vancouver to Morocco is 1600 and involves a stop in Paris. Would for example flying to Spain and bussing over be cheaper?
6) Is it worth visiting the south of Spain for a couple days?
7) Would June or July be a better month to go?
To note we're not solid on how long we're gonna stay so if for example 2 weeks is more than ample time, we may dedicate more time to Spain for example
Thanks for all your help!
