http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/flyaway-tv-around-the-world-trip More than a year ago, an eccentric traveller left home in search of true freedom and alternative ways of living. Leaving his company, girlfriend, car, and formal education behind, he embarked on a journey and moved into the world. As he travels, he will not spend a cent on lodging, but party hard, and visit the most remote corners of the earth. To survive each stage of the trip, Wladek Labuda will partake in unusual tasks across the globe's most exotic places. He will eat the local cuisine of each place, and for this he officially apologizes to his stomach. His volunteering has extended, thus far, to helping indigenous people and orphans, Caribbean bartending, trailblazing in the bush, and even assisting among religious orders. Join in as he delves into a world full of unconventional ideas and ways of living that go much deeper than the superficial and ordinary. Let's not forget to mention Poland—his native country, from which he is a proud ambassador. He declares he will not spend any money on accomodations for the trip of more than two years, and has, so far, been successful in this mission. How is that even possible? For more information, and other proven methods of free travel, you can read his e-book (being developed jointly with other travelers from around the world). This past year, Labuda has traveled over 21 thousand kilometers. His experiences so far have included a single winter night in Toronto (-31 degrees C), the largest pow-wow in the world, several trips through the jungle, a few nights in the woods in a tree house, climbing the highest peaks of North America, three days wandering in Vancouver, drinking fresh coconut juice and looting banana plantations, bartending at a Caribbean club, and helping children in Honduras. And many more. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/flyaway-tv-around-the-world-trip

Recently watched a lot of documentairies about northern-ireland and the marching season. Anyone from northern-ireland here who can help me out? I would love to come check it out but is it dangerous ( I'm from belgium) for outsiders like myself or just as a tourist in Belfast? Should I not visit belfast ever or just that time of year( already went to Glasgow without being stabbed )

How much money should I have saved up before moving to LA (or more likely Santa Monica/Venice area)? I do freelance animation/vfx and it'll probably be tough to lock a job down before moving which is why I'd rather save up and have a safety net to fall back on in case I have difficulty finding work. Also general tips for moving out of parents' house for the first time would be appreciated.

Hi, i'm French and I go to London for 2 weeks in January Except that I will not take an hotel, I'll try to sleep in british homes. So I am looking for British who live in London and can be able to put me up the weeks of 13 and 20 January. I'm friendly, nice, I make not ashamed, I know how to behave well, I kiss very well and I know how to do the dishes. I smoke by cons and I can have weeds also for those who smoke too.

Hey guys, Have you managed to find an app that lets you make calls to international numbers that don't have that specific app? Skype is a bit pricey (sometimes it makes more sense to buy a local sim). I looked at talkatone but it seems like you're limited to being able to call within NA. tl;dr is there an app that lets you call regular numbers using wi-fi? I don't mind paying a yearly fee if it's reasonable

Been in Singapore 6 months. Plan was to get a job and live here for 2-3 years. Well the job part fell through so now I need to leave the country within the next month. Thing is I don't want to return home (Scotland). So what should I do to maximise my time to stay abroad? I am a pharmacology graduate and I want to work. I have a 12 month New Zealand visa however I can only stay there about 2 months unemployed (unless I do homestay). I'm interested in teaching abroad but the fees are like $3000+. Suggestions guys? I want to travel and to have some real employment. Suggestions guys?

Chennai

I'm leaving in a week for a 12 day stay in Chennai, India for a major college debate tournament. I've never been outside the US aside from a brief trip to Toronto and a Caribbean cruise. I have been all over the USA extensively, however. I'm 21, and the only other person with me on the trip will be 19. Any advice for a first time trip to India? I've got vaccines (hep a, b, typhoid) and malaria pills. Since I've got the hep B vaccine, im considering having protected sex with an Indian chick or fucking someone at the debate tournament. You guys ever been to Chennai? Things to do, places to go, etc? We aren't going to leave the city, as we have obligations at the tournament. I know I'm going to have diarrhea at some point, but I'm bringing a ton of generic medicine to try and make it not as bad. I'd like to have as good of a time as possible while staying safe.

Hey /trv/ I'm contemplating moving to California for the summer. I think May to August. I'd like to live by the ocean and pick up surfing, and in general that life style. What would be a good town to move to? Preferably not a tourist trap, and on the coast. How much would I be looking at in monthly costs (minimal life style). How is it to find work? How would locals treat me? Is it worth not making any money over the summer? Cheers
