>the film is titled Star Wars: The Knights of Ren >Lando Calrissian will return in a minor role >his son, Richard Calrissian, will be in the film and will play a bounty hunter employed by General Hux to capture the rogue Captain Phasma >Captain Phasma is on the run and deemed a traitor by the First Order >Poe Dameron dies in the film >Rian Johnson rewrote the script to reduce the role of Gugu Raw's character in order to far more develop Kylo >Rey's mother is Obi-Wan Kenobi's daughter >Obi-Wan secretly had a daughter during his 20+ year refugee on Tatooine >Luke met that daughter and they both had Rey >Rey is the daughter of Luke Skywalker, and the granddaughter of both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker >Rey's mother was killed during the Jedi Temple Massacre carried out by the Knights of Ren >Snoke's origins and the formation of the Knights of Ren is heavily explored >Kylo will not wear a mask in the film >He wears his scar as a weapon to instill fear in his enemies >Finn and Captain Phasma will have a brutal rivalry in the film >Benicio Del Toro is playing a Jabba The Hutt-type character >Benicio's character is the mysterious man Han Solo was tasked with delivering the Ranthars to in The Force Awakens >Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor are currently at Pinewood Studios rehearsing for a flashback scene that takes place during the Clone Wars Are you hyped? You should be. Rian Johnson is currently crafting a sequel that will perhaps surpass even The Empire Strikes Back. The script is apparently amazing and Disney has the utmost confidence in Rian. Expect a batch of concept art to leak in the following weeks, if we are lucky.

>A show about an edgy middle aged man going through a midlife crisis >Revered by normies who only watch shows that are hyped up at the time >Tries to be deep and meaningful when the artistic licence is on the level of what you studied in 7th grade English >Throws in contrived le funny quotes because it's a black comedy, really! >Thinks it invented the "is the protagonist good or evil? Who even knows!" trope that has been a staple of literature for centuries >Too many scenes involving the protagonist and his unbearably annoying family >Too many characters that are le quirky >Constant homages to older crime movies to mask the fact that it rips off ideas from them >Over the top deaths >Not as good as The Wire Which of these two shows am I talking about, /tv/?

How did Pulp Fiction turn out so well when everything else Tarantino has made is either contrived or just terrible? Am I just ignorant to what inspired him to make this?

Your Perfect True Detective Season 3

Post your cravings for S3. Here's mine. Starring: >Christian Bale (charismatic, funny man) >Brendan Gleeson (introverted, straight man) Setting: >Dunboyne, County Meath, Ireland. Premise: >A bog body of a county sheriff that went missing from the town over a decade ago is located: his body shows clear signs of a threefold death. The sheriff was the father of Gleeson's character (who is not police) and is what closely ties him into the case. Upon interviewing him, Bale's character (police, perhaps even a recent expat) discovers that he has a strong disdain towards the Dunboyne Garda that most likely stems from the lack of action taken in locating his father many years back. Furthermore, Gleeson reveals his suspicions of conspiracy and believes his father's disappearance/murder was that of an inside job. At first Bale dismisses the claims as utter lunacy but he is forced to lend weight to it when another high profile figure in the town is murdered weeks/months later due to similar injuries and the police refuse to connect the two cases. Given the small-town nature of Dunboyne, Bale and Gleeson must discreetly work together to solve what is going on whilst the Garda's ever watchful eye becomes more suspicious. >The case would include themes of celtic sacrificial rituals. Maybe a bit of viking imagery here and there. Theme Song: >From 45 seconds in (to whenever really) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaS3vaNUYgs Inspiration: >http://www.irishcentral.com/roots/history/The-origins-of-the-Irish-road-PHOTOS.html >http://www.digitalmedievalist.com/opinionated-celtic-faqs/human-sacrifice/ >https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threefold_death >Being from Ireland myself. Admit it, this would objectively be the best season
