Since everyone said it's the greatest show ever, I finally decided to give "the Wire" a shot. But as much as I wanted to give it a chance, after 6 episodes into season one I'm just bored out of my mind and feel unable to continue. So my question is: Is the pacing really slow or is it just me? I really like a few of the characters and I also think it's genuinely well written but somehow it doesn't keep me interested.
Anyone feel the same about this? I usually watch Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones, even Boardwalk Empire, which in my opinion had slow pacing too - so I guess it's not that I'm too stupid to appreciate it's greatness?
