-EVGA 400w psu $34
-Fractal design 1100 case $40
-2x 4gb = 8gb ram $55
-Intel i3 4160 1150 socket: $130
(Or 6 core AMD 6300 fx $110)
-GIGABYTE GA-H81M-DS2V Mobo - $50
(Or with the 6 core AMD GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 $60)
-EVGA gtx 750 ti Superclock $150-160
-1tb WD Blue 7200rpm harddrive - $55
-A dvd burner/drive if you want $20
-Windows 8.1 (Upgrade to 10 for free): Pirate or $5-99 Digital download key
Keyboard: $10-20 Logitech/Microsoft PS2 or USB (nothing wrong with ps2)
Mouse: $20-40 for decent one, Logitech/Microsoft, spend a bit more Corsair good brands. Stay away from Razer.
Controller: Any, xbox 360, ps3, ps4, xbox one, unique ones. Steeringwheels, joysticks, whatever man... wii motes, kinect even. Theres a first party or 3rd party support for any of these in almost any game situation.
Basically what you get in a PC over a console is whatever the hell you want to do: Freedom. Spend a lot, spend a little, complicate things run into problems and fix em! Keep things simple run into less and learn a little! I wouldn't have my last jobs over the past 8 years without loving my Windows 95 PC for games because I wouldnt know anything about computers.
