- Non-linear challenging futuristic post-apocalypse RPG series with wild west influence where bounty hunters use everything from low power firearms like slingshots and pistols to chainsaw launchers and laser cannons along with vehicles such as tanks, motorcycles, battle buggies, and so forth in addition to dogs with mind-operated bazookas mounted on them and armor-based implants to hunt bounties which range from a gang of sunglasses-wearing, jetpack-using gorilla bandits to a rogue scientist who upgrades his mind into a bio-computer and kills a majority of the planet's populous just so nobody can ever be more intelligent than he is and his sidekick is a jumpsuit-wearing psycho-clown with a mohawk who looks like a cross between Frankenstein's monster and the original Needles Kane (before Twisted Metal even came out) and kills anyone and anything for shits and giggles with his oversized metal boomerang and his backpack full of gasoline which stocks his double flame-throwers
- And every game does this sort of shit, each an improvement on the last, ever since the NES
- No translations anywhere apart from 2 games, one not even being official
Why didn't anybody want it to save video games?

Damn, having a ton of fun with Far Cry 3. Best way to describe it: it's basically a cross between Fallout, Borderlands, Red Dead Redemption, and Skyrim, all at once. If you like any or all of those games, get Far Cry 3.
>Immediately from starting the game I just go off in a jeep exploring (zero limits from the get go)
>Find a shore somewhere, walk down it past some caves
>Out of no where, tigers start chasing me
>Have nothing but a shitty pistol, have no choice but to leg it
>Run into a massive pirate camp by accident
>...until the tigers just start ripping apart the pirates
>Suddenly they are after me again, find an assault rifle or two
>Escape in another jeep I find
>Before I know it, several hours have gone by
Don't think I've had so much fun in a long time.
The only gripe I have actually is the weapon and tool customization. The game makes a big point that once you start finding radio towers, you have better access to weapons and they will become free. To be honest though, money is so easy to get that it doesn't make a bit of difference. The very first weapon I bought was the best assault rifle, the MS16, and I'm pretty much just one hitting everything. It would be better if you couldn't buy the better weapons at all until you unlock more and more radio towers.
It's the same with tools - I get the repair tool for free once I find a couple of towers, but why not just buy it straight off for $500?
