Holy fucking shit, why does nobody know how to play this game.
Why can't people grasp the concept of how to throw grenades, how to prenade, when and where to and not to peek, and NOT RUNNING AND SHOOTING AT THE SAME FUCKING TIME.
It's like common sense shit, don't do shit that will get you killed. But it's like people just are just so unwilling to not only not use their head, but not LEARN from their mistakes.

>"Hi this is *Electronics store*, how can I help you?"
>Hi, if I got the date right, Pokemon X will release on Saturday. My question is, if I want to get it as fast as I could, should I preorder it and have it delivered or get it in store, or is there a chance that its not overbooked already and I might be able to just go in and buy it on release day?
>"Okay let me see. Which game were you talking about?"
>"No one has preordered that game, so I guess you can just go in and pick it up"
>"Thank you, have a nice day."
Actual true fucking story. Hold me /v/

It's a shame that Rockstar really gave in after all that.
Here they were, riding only on success after success, completely confident in themselves to make what they professed as the "game we've always dreamed of making" (Dan Houser, OPSMAU). They were truly passionate about GTA IV in all it's parts, lovingly creating it. To them it was the next revolution, the next GTA III, and a greater than III before it. Take a look at the first trailer for GTA IV, and you'll see how much ambition and sheer spirit there was behind it.
But the ignorant pleb masses simply couldn't appreciate it. It really was a game that took an appreciative and mature player to love it - clearly there aren't many of them.
Rockstar catered with EFLC. I'd hoped this retread was only for the time to shut up them up. But now with V, it's clear they've continued to retread, unfortunately.
This game is not a successor to IV at all. It's a successor to EFLC, and to SA & VC, whereas IV was a successor to III.
The next real revolutionary game to come from Rockstar North will be Agent. If GTA IV was called a different name, the reception would've been different, and it would've been more appreciated for it what it was, not what it should've been in the eyes of GTA "fans" aka 10 year old wiggers.
And so Agent will be the true successor to IV. GTA is now only another series for Rockstar. The spirit of making video games all they can be, you know, the spirit that created GTA III, and GTA IV, has now transcended GTA and is in Agent.
