>every game in the series bar the gen i games have more residents in their accessable regions than alola
>alola has the fewest routes of any region
>alola has the lowest amount of available pokemon as a percentage of the current national dex
>alola has the fewest caves of any region and in regards to bland landmarks is arguably only outclassed by gen ii kanto
>every postgame area sans the tapu ruins is located on poni, the smallest and blandest island
>akala and ula'ula are relatively the same size even though the islands they are based on differ in size, with maui being small compared to hawaii, yet they didn't think making poni disproportionately large in comparison to kauai
>more than half of the number of enterable houses in alola can be counted on your fingers, and most of them belong to important npcs
Oh sweet everloving fuck, please, PLEASE tell me Game Freak won't pull and XY and these things will be mitigated in SM's supplementary version. I don't care if the expanse is handwaved as being volcanic bullshit, I just miss the feeling of being able to break into heaps of people's houses and talking to them, even if it's pointless most of the time. Alola would be so much better if it wasn't so empty. And slow. But mostly empty.

How to progress in PTCGO, tl;dr edition:
>complete all Trainer Challenges (Cheat Engine's speedhack strongly recommended to speed up AI games) to get 45 free packs
>play through using Basic decks to unlock them for versus play
>farm Versus Mode theme ladder for Tokens and Tournament Tickets
>Enter Theme format tournaments whenever possible
>enter Standard/Expanded ticket tournaments and accept that you'll lose
>you'll get tradable tournament chests and sometimes tradable packs
>DON'T OPEN THEM
>Instead, trade them for the cards you actually want for a deck you want to build, most cards go for like 1-3 packs each.
>Public trade is like the GTS, if you want proper results, put up your own offers.
Deck Building resources
To see what your PTCGO stuff is worth, look on the PTCGO forums in the trading section. Top Cut & other big trading companies will typically overprice cards, expect to get lower. Keep pack value in mind when trading.
Tips for Code Giveaways:
>Post them as an image with the QR code covered. Don't just post it as plain text, bots may snatch them, don't post uncovered QRs, bots may snatch them
>Standard etiquette is to take one code per dump per person
>Always post your pulls

Screencaps of parts 1-17(thanks to sceencap anon!): https://imgur.com/a/7TfUl
Story so far: You are Ron, a human turned Tepig. After meeting and befriending an Oshawott, you formed a group and set off on a quest to save Osha's village by restoring the forest to the north. After an extensive adventure, you managed to free a captive Shaymin who had been sealed away in a bid to seize the forest by some corrupt and selfish pokemon. Along the way you made some friends and devoured many a pokemon heart.
After establishing a new base in Risellan City and officially registering as an exploration team, you met Chansey who promised you a new parter from the egg she's raising, then later met a Cubchoo who had her partner Buizel wander off into the woods, seemingly in a trance. You promised to go look for him, but first decided to finished up business in the city and visit the Smith.

Shigeki Morimoto just sent you an e-mail to ask for your help making the Gen 8 pokedex.
>Hey Anon! How are you doing? I noticed you're a pretty intelligent pokemon fan. You have such wonderful and creatived ideas. We need your help to make some new Gen 8 pokemons. This one here is the list of unused type combinations. You must choose FIVE TYPE COMBOS and create pokemons for them: you can choose name, design, stats, ability, moves, anything you want. Of course it has to be something plausible though, we must please all the fans.
So, which type combos do you choose? And for which pokemons?
Starter ideas for my fanmade region?
