Alright, /vp/, here we go. Sequels to Blaze Black and Volt White, which I know are mentioned quite a lot around here.
I was gonna link to a gbatemp thread to show more info but given the forum's down atm and a lot of you hate them anyway I'll give you a quick rundown of changes:
Quick list of changes:
Wild Pokémon, Trainer Pokémon, some text, level-up moves, evolution methods, attacks, new items, new scripts and overworlds, edited item balls/gifts, edited in-game trades, edited Pokémon that appear in Hidden Grottos, edited Mart inventories, some new TMs.
Downloads are here, for the patches you need clean Black 2 and White 2 ROMs (ie ones without the AP patch already applied). The exp fix is included within the patches.
Patches & Documentation
Complete (ie everything) BB2 and VW2 roms (This is missing the docs, forgot to put them in the rar)
Vanilla (ie no Pokemon changes, level up move changes or attack changes, for if you hate that Grass/Dragon Serperior ridiculousness) ROMs for BB2 and VW2, includes documents:
The documents by themselves:
Most of you probably know the drill. Hope you enjoy the game.
Perils of Creationism

I still can't believe that now, in the 21st century, a period of unparalleled scientific understanding and discovery, so many of us still hold ancient myths to be fact. Anywhere you go, in any region, you will still find many people that believe that existence was brought into reality by the legendary pokemon, who in turn were created by the "almighty" Arceus.
There is absolutely no scientific evidence to suggest even part of the creationist view is factual in anyway.
On the other side of the spectrum; it is so incredibly obvious that all life on this planet evolved from a single common ancestor, commonly referred to as 'Mew'. Any primary school student would be able to cite dozens of findings and theorems that support this.
And while what are commonly called the 'legendary' pokemon have mostly bee confirmed to actually exist, than shouldn't their powers be nigh unmatchable? They are responsible for reality after all, so how is it that mere humans have successfully captured and trained some of the legends as if they were any other pokemon? And how would us lowly creations be able to create our own "god" in the form of Mewtwo to rival the powers of "the Original One" himself?
Why do we still allow these lies to permeate our society? All they do is hinder scientific development. Why can't the masses finally see the children's stories for what they are, and let human, and through our efforts, pokemon, reach the pinnacle of our abilities, to stand as a testament to future generations?

I bought my first Pokemon game ever (Pokemon Black 2) a couple of days ago, and I am starting to grasp the game mechanics (stats, moves, damages, etc.), but still do not know how to play except by brute force. (To get an idea of what I mean, it is like knowing the rules of chess but not how to win at chess.)
At any rate, I got six badges so far and these are my Pokemon:
Samurott - Naive - Torrent - Lv. 41
Ampharos - Naive - Static - Lv. 44
The rest are HM slaves (and I haven't leveled any of them).
What do you think and where do I start learning how to play well/competitively?
