posting this as it happens:
I'm at work (work in tech support at a college) and there's this old guy that is very computer illiterate who started teaching here not long ago. Wicked nice guy. Love helping him for some reason - just a charming old dude i guess.
Anyway, I've finished several tickets for him and today he sent in an email about some problem with his internet connection, and asked whoever was going to respond to just call ahead to make sure he would be in the office.. I obliged and gave him a call. Phone rang for a while and then I got this really loud long ringing noise (kind of like when you hear a loud noise and you have that ringing in your ear) that made me pull the phone away from my ear. Don't know what possessed me to continue listening, but I did for like a minute, and then I hung up. Called him back immediately but the line was busy.. decided to just go over.
Found him face down on his desk.. called his name a few times, and then walked over and shook his shoulder. No reaction. Checked his pulse. Dude's dead.
As of right now, I've called an ambulance, and the secretary is trying to rececitate him.. some more people showed up, and one guy saw i was shaking pretty hard.. said i could leave if i wanted to. Went straight back to my cube to type this

Q: How do siddhis arise through celibacy and meditation?
A: The principle is the same as with fasting and other austerities. When you give something up to God, you are making yourself known to Him. Meditation without giving something up carries very little, if any force. Austerities increase the power of your will - they are the fuel of prayer and meditation.
God does not like to see His children suffer. The concentration of your will (meditation) during a time of austerity (celibacy, fasting, silence etc.) can afford you powers to realize your will in the material world, to stretch the boundaries of what you thought was possible before. This is all through God.
Before trying celibacy, you didn't think it was possible. Before trying fasting, you were reading articles and books which tell you nonsense like "You must eat five vegetable servings per day" and "you have to have n liters of water per day" etc. You discover that not only do you do not have these limitations, but that you can be very happy and powerfully in tune with the world and with God.
During my fasts (and I've been perfectly celibate for four years in addition), I often feel as if *everything* I see is a sign, specifically directed to me through God. There are *always* the most strange coincidences, numbers, sights and events during these times. And whatever I pray for at that time, I receive.
People have learned in their churches "ask and you shall receive", but what they often forget is that you must ask seriously. If I make serious signals to God, God will take me seriously. This is true for any man.

I seriously hate someone. I'm pretty sure that the hate I feel for them is more intense than everything else that every single other person, who has ever lived and hated someone, has hated anything, combined. I'm pretty much agnostic, went to Sunday School as a kid. I'm legit interested in santeria, or voodoo. I want to curse her ilk for the remainder of their existance. I have a pretty specific tragedy that I would like to see befall her. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Not a troll.
